i continue to be so excited AND enchanted :)
i am so excited to go here in march!
Wow, I’m sure you will have a great time there! 😍
Thank you so much for introduce my region, JeonJu
Hello! My pleasure 😊 What a beautiful place you hail from / live in! ♥️ I wish I had more time to spend but I will visit again for sure.
Hi! How long did it take to get to Jeonju?
@@ZheZhir Hello! Around 3 hours 😊
@SukiinEconomy thank youu
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent tour and explanation. Thank you 🙏
Thank you Maam! Means a lot to me ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you much for your excellent video and story.
My pleasure! ♥️
Such a unique itinerary!
Thanks! 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Mommy Lani! 😊
Thank you for this beautiful, informative vlog. I am pondering if i will be brave enough to do the trail by myself.
Thank you so much! 😊♥️ Go for it! You can do it! 💪🏼When in Magome, you will find travelers going to the direction of the trail. Just follow them and trail behind them, that’s what I did. Then I met more travelers along the way. There are travelers hiking the Nakasendo almost every day. All the best! 😊
hi, love your video. just wanted to know if the express bus pass was roundtrip from tokyo to kawaguichiko station and back?
Thank you! 😊 The JPY2100 fare is only one-way.
Thank you for the information
My pleasure! 😊
So that what Dosirak (Доширак) means!!!
Hi suki! Very excited to follow along your journey in japan, I am going to japan end of Nov,any food recommendations from u personally? Is the Hikiniku To Come hamburger w& gyukatsu motomura worth the hype? Thanks! Love your slow travel style (i am not an elderly but loves a more laidback itinerary)
Hi Siska! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it😊♥️ Actually, I haven’t tried those restaurants yet. I’ve tried Bikkuri Donkey, which is a popular hamburger steak chain in Japan and it’s really good! The portions are huge too. I highly recommend it 👍🏻 Overall, I tend to gravitate towards small / local eateries than the chains - like those run by families. Where in Japan are you going to? ♥️
Hi, thanks for the very helpful vlog. Just wanna ask if the Night Market is partially open on weekdays? We'll be arriving at Jeonju quite late at about 8pm on a Thursday evening and I'm not sure where to get food or hang out.
You’re welcome! 😊 Afraid the night market happens only every fri and sat but there are stalls along the main street that are open until past 9 or until 10pm I think. Anyhow, last resort would be convenience stores. There’s one inside the hanok village and there’s one just across the bridge after the pavilion. It’s nice to just walk around the village even at night. Hanging out at the pavilion would be nice also.👍🏻
@@SukiinEconomy Thank you so much <3

Do we need to pre-book the rickshaw service?
@@cheriechan6461 I think you can do on-the-day booking but advance booking is highly recommended so you have better options in terms of time. This is one of the rickshaw tour companies in Arashiyama- ebisuya.com/en_smp/book/

Hello. Paano po magcommute pabalik ng Tokyo? Thanks!
Hello! From Magome-juku, sakay ka ng bus pabalik ng Nakatsugawa Station, dun mismo sa station, may buses papuntang Shinjuku (Tokyo), pero normal buses na may toilet on board lang ito. It’s not similar to the Willer Express bus na nasakyan ko. But you can also book it via Willer Express’ website. If you want to ride the Willer bus (yung nasakyan ko mismo), you have to go to Nagoya which is about 1 hour train ride lang from Nakatsugawa Station, kasi dun starting point ng bus. 😊
Can icoca and or suica card can be use in kyoto for trains and buses?
Hello, yes you can. Although you might also want to consider just getting a one-day Kyoto train and bus pass (JPY1100). Here’s a good guide to understanding IC cards: www.japan-guide.com/e/e2359_003.html#:~:text=Icoca%20is%20the%20prepaid%20IC,attractions%20in%20the%20Kansai%20Region.
@@SukiinEconomy thanks! We are going Osaka, Tokyo, Shizuoka then Kyoto then Osaka
There’s a version of Suica that’s designed for short-term tourists (ie Welcome Suica) and based on what I’ve read, you can also use this pretty much anywhere in Japan. It’s only good for a month I think but you dont have to pay the JYP500 deposit 😊
Korea next!!! 🥶 🥶 🥶
Your mother is the cutest!
Aww thanks a lot, I will let her know. ♥️😊😊😊♥️

Thanks a lot! Enjoy your time in Asakusa! And btw - at the 8th floor of the Asakusa Tourist Info Center (just right across Kaminarimon gate), there’s a free viewing deck where you can an aerial view of the place - it’s amazing!
@@SukiinEconomy didn't know that, the hotel I will be staying is near that. Thx for the info. Can't wait...

I think you are a excellent tour youtuber....the details that you covered and your articulation is very clear and pleasant. I had originally wanted to spend 2 days 1 night in jeonju but after watching so many other youtube videos on jeonju, I feel that it is too much of a"tourist trap" and so I gave up the idea. So far your videos covered a lot more and show so many other facets of Jeonju and pehaps I may reconsider spending 1 night there afterall. Keep up the good work !
Wow, thank you so much! Your message is so encouraging. ♥️ I will do my best to come up with more useful videos. And I hope your Jeonju trip pushes ahead and goes well! ^^
very useful intro to jeonju. your directions on how to get there is very clear. your articulation is great. Keep up the good work !
Thank you!!!! :)
very helpful tips. Planning to go there this December ☺️ I know it'll be so cold 😂
Thank you!!! ♥️ Oh indeed, I heard winter in South Korea is a little harsh 🥶🥶🥶
This is magical! I saw there is no English on the signs. How hard is it for a non-Japanese speaker to get around?
Hi there! 😊 Oh, dont worry! I speak almost 0 Japanese and I didnt have a difficult time at all. Actually, there are English signs along Magome and the restaurants and inns have their menu and other details in English too. The flyers and maps they give at the tourist information centers are a huge help too and they would always have English versions 👍🏻 And even if some don’t speak English, people here are so kind, friendly, and patient. They will find a way to communicate with you ♥️ You wont regret visiting this place! It’s more magical in person. ✨
@@SukiinEconomy thank you! this place looks just my speed. I want to spend two days sketching!

Nice video, when was the time you shot this video? Which month, just wondering will there be any fall colors end of this month...
Hello, thanks! I’m glad you liked it! 😊 This was around end of November. I think it’s still summer feels in Japan right now so maybe late October is the safest or early November. Nevertheless, this place is still stunning without the autumn foliage ♥️
Hi, thank you for the video, it's very informative 🤩 May I know how did you book the farmhouse ? I'm really interested to know more about it please. Thank you in advance 😃
Hi, thank you! 😊 of course, here: semboku-gt.jp/en/

@@SukiinEconomy Thank you so much 🤩
Hello! We are going to Japan (Kansai entrance and exit) next year, and we are planning to visit here and dedicate 1 whole day here. As well as another place in kyoto. Where do you think is it best to spend the nights as we are traveling with our toddler as well :) Thank you!
Hi! So sorry, I saw this just now. If you’d like to be close to Kyoto Station but don’t prefer an overly touristy area, I recommend Shimogyo ward. 😊 If you want something more laidback with the best Kyoto views and dont mind walking, I recommend Higashiyama ward. If you have quite a lot of luggage, I think it’s better to stay near Kyoto Station so even if you take a cab, it will be a lot less expensive. I learned that locals find it uncomfortable when there are a lot of tourists with luggage inside the local buses, which is understandable. Hope you find the best accommodation for you and your family! Let me know if you have other questions :)
@@SukiinEconomyThank you so much! ❤
Do you know if luggages can be stored in Nakatsugawa station for more than 24 hours? Thanks.
Hi there! Yes if you’re using coin lockers. They dont have a lot but they have a size that fits big luggages too, as far as I can remember :)
What was the date the video was done? Thks. I m visiting in mid October.
@@mata3828Hello, this was during the last week of November (or maybe first week December?) October is a nice month to visit. I think it’s nicer to hike when the weather is cool. Also, I think you’re just in time for some persimmon kuri kinton which is a seasonal delicacy in Nagano. Try some when you get to Tsumago-juku. 👌🏼
