Everyones talking about Opeth’s growls being gone, I miss those John Baizley gutterals
for real his vocals in this were on point
It was JDB’s vocals that made me accept and later appreciate growl as a singing style, so… :)
I know this comment is a year old and I love Baroness now, but yes, a 100x yes.
He still does songs from Red and does them really well

Thank you! Wish I knew of Baroness back in 09’. This had to be pretty awesome to see live. John Baizley looks like he’d snap someone in half.

What a travesty that this was ahead of the where social media is today. Heavy Baroness didn’t get the recognition it deserved, but if this rendition was still mixed in with what John is exploring today, then they could be quite the force.
This has got to be my favorite live Baroness show I’ve seen. If I had a Time Machine, making it to this show would be my first mission. So many great songs, my favorite baroness lineup, my favorite era of all of them (especially John) as musicians and some of the innards of the blue album shown throughout. Awesome stuff.

Honestly I feel like the current lineup hits harder than any past lineup, nothing against Allen, Pete, Summer, but Seb, Nick, and Gina are the best.
This lineup rules but the current lineup is more talented and is absolutely phenomenal live.
Not better or worse, just different. I appreciate the past lineups but I feel like the current group are a lot tighter and better overall musicians.
