I wanted to clarify, is the cost baseline obtained by adding all the cost estimates for the project ? Also is the project budget actually the cost baseline ?
Thanks, Syed, for your kind words!! The cost baseline includes the cost of all activities and contingency reserves. The budget includes this cost baseline plus management reserves.

Hello Sir 1 ask the difference which you have explained for Analogous and Parametric is totally different. Analogous you told it to watch the cost of the current project with previous project with same nature whereas in PMBOK this has been explained in Parametric. Please help us in explaining this once again.

Please refer PMBOK 7.2.2.2 Analogous estimating - Analogous cost estimating uses values, or attributes, of a previous project that are similar to the current project.
In the PMBOK, It is explained in analogous only not in parametric.

@@siddeshrautu6116 This questions is related to the PMBOK process 7.2 - Estimate Cost. To estimate cost you can use different tools like Expert Judgement, Analogous Estimating, Parametric estimating, Bottom-up Estimating, and you can also take votes. Please refer Page Number 240 of PMBOK(R) Guide.
