I really like the way Geoff and Voice Play record a separate outro for the listing of their Patreons! 💖
I'd give Geoff an 8 out of 10 on hitting all of the country song tropes in a single song: lost my truck, lost my dog, cheatin' wife, best friend, locked out of the house. I think the only ones he missed were drowning his sorrows in a bottle of whiskey, and ending up in jail!
On the lyrics "decorations of RED on a GREEN Christmas tree", Geoff is folding a red and a green shirt to match them. Great attention to details - but I kind of wonder if that might not have been Kathy's idea?
I didn't even catch onto all of the country song tropes when watching the first time to be honest. But that's a very nice catch! I've since learned from the comments about the Easter eggs and now the intentional lighting choices from your comment.
I swear his tone is getting even better and more 'rounded' recently. I need to go back and see where it began, but certainly since the Halloween song of "Hellfire", then this one and his Christmas 'short'.
His voice sounded very crisp in this, yes!
Geoff does create the music on his videos using plugins on his keyboard. Geoff playing the doofus and doing it so well. :) And he had all those country tropes in there. If you want to hear how long he can hold a low note you need to see VoicePlay's Valhalla Calling.

This was one big Easter egg. All the T-shirts and hanging shirts he has worn in past videos and his own merch. The arrows on the dryers for Way Down. Kathy coming in to rescue Geoff as in Golden Hour and did you notice that he forgot a camera sitting in the right corner. He didn't either but we spotted it.

Speaking of the simplification. Geoff had a very busy fall; the video was simpler than most, because he did not show the Geoff harmonizers. That made the video shoot much easier to shoot.
All of the shirts on the rack beside him were from previous videos, as were some of the ones he was folding. It was fun to try to catch all of the Easter eggs he included.
Seeing Kathy on screen in that romantic ending was adorable.
