- Which raffia tote bag should I keep? Designer bag comparison / first impressions of the Loewe basket bag in white leather to the Jacquemus basket bag in beige. Oh yes, I have a real problem with top stitching too; gosh, this is a difficult one. My contribution would be that straw bags tend to pil my clothes & I’d be worried about it possibly scratching your baby boy inadvertently. I’m so excited for the birth - it has flown by & you look fabulous. ❤️❤️❤️
TY Penny :) I'm worried I would ruin the straw too as they seem delicate and I am heavy handed! May have sourced an Acne oversized leather jacket for half price! So that is going to be a birthday and push present to myself instead I think 🙊 xx
@@charlottebuttrick The leather jacket sounds like a fantastic idea; if you do get it will you do a style up reel/IGTV/RUclips if you have time? I have 5 leather jackets🙈 (some new, some from eBay) & It’s exciting to get inspiration on new ways to team them up. I love the way you cross all the borders such as chunky boots & a leather jacket with a smart dress. ❤️❤️❤️
I can’t decide between Loewe and jacquemus. I couldn’t justify both. I actually ordered the white Loewe last year but returned it because it’s actually smaller than the medium tan version but larger than the small. But I do like the white colour x
I am just worried I would ruin the stitching with dirty hands as I usually avoid white stitching on bags as I am clumsy lol. Both gorgeous but for now I've decided not to keep either as with baby coming I don't know if I'll get the cost per wear or keep in good condition! Xx

I own the white Loewe version - if you detach one of the straps, thread it under it’s partner on the other side, then reattach it, the straps will hold each other in an X. This will keep it from slipping off the shoulder.
Oh amazing thank you so much Jena that is so helpful. I’ve only adjusted the length of my straps and hadn’t thought to do that!
At that price, the handle of the Jacquemus better be suede. But for me, Loewe.

The Jacquemus bag is nicer, however 400 plus U.S. dollars for straw is not my jam :)! I have leather Radley Londons' that cost less, but then again I'm cheap :) !!
They are overpriced for what they are! Basically paying for a label. They are beautiful though and I love how the Jacquemus one is a bit more unique but for now I've decided to send both back and invest my money elsewhere! I am a bit of an impulse buyer first and then when they arrive I think more.logically lol. Lockdown has me.bored and doing way to much online shopping! Xx
