LOEWE | Baskets 2019

#LOEWE approached 10 prominent international artisans and invited them to interpret the theme of basketry, hand quilting and calligraphy in their own inimitable way. Each artist shares a deep knowledge of their discipline and brings their own distinct style to the project. The result is a gallery of one-off works that are both decorative and practical in their application.

Someone ate a thesaurus for breakfast lol. Maybe a tad less of the verbose and convoluted commentary and a little more truly penetrating words, you know, the simple, powerful ones that are signifiers of meaning as opposed to mood-inducing gestures. It's a beautiful and interesting video for a wonderful project.
