Remembering Life and Legacy of Fashion Journalist André Leon Talley

An outpouring of condolences tonight because of the passing of groundbreaking fashion journalist André Leon Talley, former editor at large of Vogue died Tuesday at the age 73.
In life, he held a towering influence over the fashion world, standing at 6-foot, 7 inches tall. Often adorned in the most spectacular of robes, Talley was a fearless advocate for diversity both on and off the runway.
When asked where his fantastic sense of style all began, he would mention his upbringing in Jim Crow era North Carolina and the grandmother who raised him.
Robin Givhan, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and a senior critic at large, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss Talley’s life and legacy.
