the swami was a humble man. He didn't try to overtake jacks knowledge in anyway, even though he has a different opinion. His opinion wasn't that important to respect his fellow man, jack.
Jack was profoundly influenced by Paul Bragg (Bragg’s ACV). When he opened his gym’s and encouraged people to exercise and eat well, doctors literally told people NOT to join his gyms and exercise because they’d “get bulky” and “have a heart attack lifting weights”! Imagine if that were today, they’d have said he was pushing “pseudoscience “. Something to think about!
Jack was also a lot more vivid and cognitively well off till the day he died, no slow speech, would answer your questions immediately. Swami slowed down a lot in his 80's, slow speech, slow reaction, needed assistance to walk properly. So basically yes, you are right.
1:40 Wakes up at 4am to lift heavy weights-complete muscle failure daily, 7x/week. 2:12 4AM workouts = discipline. We are only as good as our discipline. Without pride or discipline, we don’t have much in life. Getting up at 4am when you don’t feel like it strengthens your discipline.
I remember your show on channel 5 in NYC. A lot of great conversations. I wish there were shows like this still around. NYC wasn’t an interesting place to grow up in.
He is absolutely right. However he expends too much energy unnecessarily. He's right absolutely without a doubt. However you have to moderate your energy expenditure. You can't run full throttle all the time. His work and teaching is absolutely paramount without a doubt no question. For God sake he invented the leg extension machine. Period.
I don’t see what’s funny about anything he’s saying. I guess I’m a freak compared to the rest of the populace. Sure, he’s over the top. But man does our world need to embody this message.
palabrajot505 He took Jacks advice. Straight from George Burns wiki: Burns remained in good health for most of his life, in part thanks to a daily exercise regimen of swimming, walks, sit-ups, and push-ups.
@@RobertoAlvarezGalloso Yes... Jack LaLanne was 96 years old when he died and George Burns was 100 years old when he died. The totality of George Burns' life was four tears longer than Jack LaLanne's life. He outlived Jack, by four years. I never said that George Burns died four years after Jack LaLanne died, chronologically. I'm just saying that he lived for years longer than Jack.
@@RobertoAlvarezGalloso Thanks for dragging me back into this rabbit hole... After reading your comment, I spent a good nine hours watching Jack Lalanne videos.
Jack's energy would light up an entire city for years
Jack made it to 97 ....Swami ....88 .
If we had more Jack LaLanne's in the world maybe we wouldn't be in such a mess as a society!
Mind body connection back almost 50 years ago. Amazing!
Also Swami Satchidananda. Jack inspired me as a kid, then the Swami changed me in my 30s. Two great philosophers for healthy living.
This guy! What a man. He moves me to tears with his utter enthusiasm for life.
BEFORE HIS TIME, AMAZING, JACK LA LANNE WOW.....
Jack's right on,It starts in your mind. You can't separate the mind and body..
What’s up with those shoes he wears all the time 😂😂😂 he was an amazing human being ❤love his discipline …
What a lovely human being Jack was.
He has the energy of a 20 year old in this video.
Great combination on stage...spiritual with the physical...heals... thank you.
Both the two's are beautiful!
one of the best natural bodybuilder
He looked great at 64

Jacno77 plus the swami already was interviewed and it was jacks turn.
He knows how to win friends and influence people, you can never win an argument.
I wonder if LaLanne learned any hatha yoga then?

Oh my god. My confidence is through the roof. I'm going to walk to kitchen and come back. That should be enough exercise for today.
Grab a beer while you're at it
Good. Next day do it twice.
Sobriety @@Saturnia2014
That’s a real Kramer (Seinfeld) haircut Jack has there.😎
lol... or maybe Beakman.
Wondering uf he paid for that crop.
Randy Satchie...
this is great!
I have always liked your interviews Bill. Thanks for uploading this!
Words of wisdom
.....daily training.....discipline...accept struggle!!
Fun fact, Jack is actually a few months older than Swami.
Jack was a beast!
I think Arnold Schwarzenegger said that of Jack Lalanne some years ago.
@@ColonelMarcellus I heard Jack actually beat Arnold once in a bodyweight exercise face off while Arnold was in his prime.
I'm also up at 04:00. Motivated by Mr. Dicipline?
Nope... Mr. Prostate.
Your emulating the Christ very good Mk 1 : 35
Wonderful.
I know who I'd more like to emulate-the one who lived until age 96 and was a specimen of physical health.
Wow great content
Jack lived longer, surely Jack makes more sense

what is Satchitananda doing there?
Who is Bill Boggs?
I'm the TV host/producer/writer whose work is here on BillBoggsTV on RUclips.

Actually I just checked the Wiki. George Burns died in 1996 at 100 Years while Jack Lalanne died in 2011
