I totally agree that Sinn needs to mix in some brushing for certain models. I'm eyeing the 104 and the main thing that's preventing me from pulling the trigger has been the lack of brushing. Fantastic pickup!
In finishing any watch it’s always better to have contrasting finishes, the brushed & polished combo makes this watch pop out beauty! Recently acquired a bunch of straps which I thought would a child’s play in choice of color, the opposite was the result due to mfgr. limited choice in lug width. This Sinn watch is great looking😍, which if not mistaking has a movement equivalent to ETA ´s 7765(vintage hand wound) movement size. Happy New Year & all the best!👍❤️👌
Whoa! have never heard of a store offering brushing service to a customer on the spot for a watch purchase. That’s fantastic, may be the ADs here is US should offer that if not already offered!
Happy New Year, Pete. Congratulations on your new, beautiful Sinn watch. Brushed is the way to go, and the red strap 🔥 You're a one of a kind my friend. God bless.
Absolutely stunning piece. I saw this online, funnily enough on definewatches as well, definitely one of the standouts from Sinn. Will absolutely be picking one up in the future!
I just popped in to say that Intro music (and montage) is very satisfying. I clicked away to start up some work software whilst it was playing and felt myself rushing back so I wouldn't miss the visuals. Cool watch, mate, and really impressive how your shop gave it the selective brushed finish. Ti looks fantastic when polished/brushed properly, not just sandblasted. Props to Sinn for that design, yet again on your channel you've featured one that hits it out the park with legibility/visibility at a glance. Looking forward to the full review.
Happy New Year! And congratulations on another Sinn in the collection. One of the best built and detailed watch makers I've had the pleasure to own. I purchased a 104 I St Sa A a couple years ago on an H link. I had the same thought on it having a brushed case, but was hesitant to have it done. Rethinking it now. They did a great job on yours with the polished chamfers, really mates well with the H link so much better. Cheers
I love Sinn. This one was not doing it for me until I saw it on the off white strap. The watch looks great on bracelet as well. That is awesome that you were able to get it brushed.
I feel so fortunate to catch this video the day before mine is supposed to be delivered. I hope I love mine as much as you love yours! Congrats, Peter!
Great watch, great video! I've just ordered a Habring from Define. About 4-6 months wait which suits me and increases the anticipation. Lucky I live in Melbourne and don't visit regularly!
Congrats on the new watch (it’s stunning) but sorry to hear about your friend. And I think we all like the brush finishing better! If this is how your year starts, I cannot wait to see how it finishes! Congrats again.
I know you didn’t explain on the Seiko leaving the collection for praises but still, that’s an awesome way to bless a friend who’s into watch collecting as well. Hope I can one day do that to a close friend of mine as well
Happy owner of a Sinn 103 "matt" that was only available for the US marked (god knows why???) Got it used a few years ago. Looks so much better beat blasted. I was so happy with it, that I added a Sinn 356 to the collection just before Christmas. Both absolutely great watches. I could not agree more concerning your observation that Sinn should add the option to have any Sinn 103 either beat blasted or brushed. What I love about the 356 and the 103 is that especially the version with the plexi gives me that special vintage vibe while I still can confidently rely on the modern techniques that Sinn provides I just wanted to ask, which watch had to leave your collection for your 103. And you answered it right away in the video. Great story. I hope friend gets well soon. Best of wishes for him, and of course for you and your family for the new year!
Wow! Love it. Had been thinking about their navitimer, but am knee deep in Newman nostalgia. I just got the new Nivada ChronoSport numbered edition. This is def on my radar-if I can save up before they are gone! Congrats! And thanks for sharing the story. PS I love the SS bracelet on it.
What a lovely gesture to your sick friend Pete. It's great to be able to share the passion. I always say the best whisky is one you can share with someone, same goes for watches it seems :)
Peter that Sinn is a beauty. Black rubber strap is great. Bracelet is spectacular. Since your credit card took a hit I can help and will gladly buy your Dornblüth. Just trying to do a good deed for the new year.
Absolutely stunning Pete!! Man I love that Red curved end rubber strap! When I first began to collect higher end watches, Chronographs were the only types of watches I would buy for probably the first 5 years. Congrats on a fine looking timepiece. Great taste!!! First class!
Congrats! As a German in AUS I have a Sinn too, but only one I can get serviced here, no Sinn BS tech. I had UXs, U2, 104, EZM and all the stuff back in Frankfurt, it was already PITA to get them serviced there, here its a nightmare. I now just have an EZM3, with a SW200 and if the dry capsule needs replacement, who cares.
Nice video as always and beautiful watch with nice proportions. Same movement as the Studio Underd0g with the monopusher chrono. Wear the watch in good health. 😊
Man is my wallet lucky that shop is at the other end of the world. … if only I wasn’t going to Frankfurt soon 😬 🙈 😂 Happy New Year to you too! And congratulations, what a fine watch that is, enjoy! Thanks for all these vids.
Happy New Year to you too and indeed a good start of the year with the Sinn. Beautiful watch again. Is that an Artem strap you put it on? It's amazing how Artem straps always bring out any watch so well, there's something about them. (If it IS an Artem strap of course :-)
Congrats with a fantastic watch - WOW 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪👍 Im actually watching this video, wearing a "distant cousin" of the Sinn 103 chronographs: a Guinand GMT chrono. Love this brand, that was owned by Helmuth Sinn, after he sold Sinn. But Guinand dont have a manual wind yet, so this really is what I have been on "the hunt" for. Hmmmm.....☺️👍
Happy New Year mate! You started with a banger, I see. Love the watch and love all the options taken, especially the brushed work on the case, very cool. Next one at Noosa will be me, just hope my marriage survives my potential sin(n)s… 😅
Great video & really good purchase. I’ve got a shop at Nelson Bay, that I always go in to tyre kick(so to speak). Go up there for a holiday & last 3 years, come away with an Adina watch. Can’t help it, as I’m a fan of their watches. Driving the missus mad. Can’t wait till your next review.
Happy new year brother. Finally the mystery is revealed! Really glad this purchase prompted the gift to your friend who I’m sure could do with his spirits being lifted, hope he comes good. Totally know what you mean about going into Peter & Lydia’s “Aladdin’s cave” of a shop very very dangerous, that’s happened to me more than onec😂 That red strap sets the watch off to a tee for weekends then black for weekdays? Very versatile piece & lovely vintage vibes. Take care
Aladdins cave for sure.. Maybe we need to meet up one day and go shopping together...I am sure our wives will be pleased 😂 Cheers Curt, happy new year brother
@ I’ll need to save up or get Peter to black out the Habring & Dornbluth display cabinets😂 I think both our wives are far too accommodating for our own good!

I also am disappointed with its limited status because this is one of my grails and I'm not in the position to run out and add it to my collection so for now I'll just savor this video and your epic content Be well and of course Big blessings my friend 👍
I really like the Sinn brand I was looking seriously at getting a 104 but got put off by the service costs I read about but I really like some of their designs
HNY Pete, Great purchase, lovely gesture to your friend, really good looking piece.👌 Don’t know if I could trust a watch without a screw down crown though!!! Would be good to hear about the tech that allows that when you do your review.👍
Today I was at an airport juweller and saw that new Longines Spirit Zulu Time Titanium for the first time. I already thought I was gonna like it, but in person it's even better. Yes! They offer matte-finished 104s. I don’t understand why they don’t just brush them out…
In finishing any watch it’s always better to have contrasting finishes, the brushed & polished combo makes this watch pop out beauty!
I love Sinn. But, more matte aka bead blasted (or whatever). More contrast. The main 104 is polished everywhere.
Whoa! have never heard of a store offering brushing service to a customer on the spot for a watch purchase. That’s fantastic, may be the ADs here is US should offer that if not already offered!
That brushing took it to a whole new level in my opinion. Sinn makes some incredible watches.
I enjoyed the story and the new watch immensely, Peter. Thank you for sharing this with us, and blessings to you and your family in 2025.
Happy New Year, Pete. Congratulations on your new, beautiful Sinn watch. Brushed is the way to go, and the red strap 🔥
You're a one of a kind my friend. God bless.
Cheers, Happy New Year to you too Rafa 🙏
@PeterKotsa Thank you, brother.
Congratulations on that beautiful new Sinn! Nice of you to gift the Tuna as well.
Super sharp. Great pick up. 😊 A wonderful gesture to your friend. Given with the right heart. I'll be praying for your friend.
He is a very good man and doesn't deserve the hardship he is going through unfortunately, be well Jon 🙏
I love it on bracelet, and brushed makes it better.
Super watch Peter. The black strap looks ++
Another great video, Peter. Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!
Happy New Year Peter! I'm delighted you are starting the new year with a new watch.
Cheers and Happy New Year to you too 👍
Congrats Pete, great watch and respect for your act !
🙏
Beautiful watch. The strap combos you came up with are stellar. Congratulations Peter.
Happy New Year to you!
“The most dangerous shop” 😂 … I think we can all relate.
Good for you my friend 😅👍🏼
Part the enjoyment in this hobby Francois, we are all very similar as enthusiasts 😊😂
You're a good man. I felt your every sincere pure word. Much respect. Making a difference is why we exist.

Happy New Year!

I’m a big fan of the brand and this video only reinforces that feeling. Congrats on adding another winner to your collection!
Yeah Pete, that is rather a nice piece to start the new year with. Might be hard to top that one mate. Congrats and happy new year!
Happy New Year Peter !!!
I love Sinn. This one was not doing it for me until I saw it on the off white strap. The watch looks great on bracelet as well. That is awesome that you were able to get it brushed.

I like the way this watch lends itself to a variety of straps and that lovely bracelet. Beautiful.
A lovely looking watch. For a chronograph the screen doesn't look overcrowded. Nice one!
Good spacing and vintage feel coming off that dial for sure 👍
Peter congrats it's a beautiful timepiece!
With The Red Band, it's a Winning Combo!
Happy New Year!
You always have an eye for fantastic timepieces. Happy New Year 2025!

Love it!! Red looks great, black looks fab. But the brushing effect is a fantastic call Peter. Keep up the great work on the channel.

I love that acrylic crystal and the red strap really helps the watch pop.

Good review. Nice watch. Sinn Quality. And brushed better. Get going 🚀
Nice watch Pete! I might have to take a page out of your notebook and have my Military Type IV brushed ( it is also a 103 variant with polished case).
Visited Define Watches for the first time last week and as a result I can see a Sinn for my next purchase. Fantastic looking watch.
