Four months ago I bought through eBay's authenticity guarantee program an immaculate, used 2024 Heritage 41 Burgundy on Tudor's not-Jubilee bracelet for $1,350 below the MRP. Insane!
So glad the Tudor's that I have in my collection were bought as Lifer's & NOT to be swapped out every year for the latest toy. Always bought new from Ad & never paid full retail. Think this is Post Covid Hype correction and will be seen over many brands.
I have a MN FXD and am hoping to pick up a Pelagos 39 early next year. I’ve been keeping an eye on prices and second hand P39 prices are approaching $3k, I even saw one recently not too beat up for $2900. A great time to be a used Tudor enthusiast
I finally came around to the fact that Tudor provides some of the best bang for the buck. I have not sought one on the secondary market, but will definitely consider now. Since acquiring my P39 in December last year at retail price, it has not left my wrist. It is the perfect tool watch for me. As always, your videos are the best in many ways.

No price drops that I can see here in Australia. A used Tudor Ranger on a bracelet will set you back a little over $4,000 Australian dollars. That’s around 2,050 pounds sterling. I’m saving up for the Ranger, but with prices so high here on the used market it makes more sense to spend an extra $800 AUD and procure one new.
I picked up a mint BB58 blue on bracelet and nato strap for $2500. Was an unbelievable bargain and is the perfect summer watch for me. Next up on my list is the black FXD.

I think this may be the right time for me to pull the trigger on what has recently become my grail watch, the Pelagus 39. While still in demand, I've seen prices in the grey and used market dropping recently.
About a month ago, I bought a 1 year old Panda Black Bay Chrono that looked absolutely new, 35% lower than MSRP. I absolutely love it, and I don't know if I would've bought it, if the prices hadn't dropped this low.
I'm really grateful for this video (great video mate) - I honestly kind of ignored Tudor because I just felt that as a brand and as a watch it was over committed: too much hype and too pricey for watches that were so vanilla and beige (great work horse pieces - but pricey work horses nonetheless). The adjustments in secondary prices are very welcome and there genuinely are some bargains that you've highlighted here.

I was just thinking fhe other day if ID guy still has his BB54. Nice to see you're still enjoying it! Maybe a follow up video of your feelings after owning it for a year?
I purchased a black bay heritage smiley when they first came out, I think it cost me at the time £2500 or thereabouts, went for the one on distressed leather strap rather than bracelet. It’s a fantastic watch for the money and stunning to look at with its off the shelf patina. I sometimes think about trading it for one of the GMTs but if I did I would probably regret it.
I bought my Black Bay 54 for RRP and to be fair, it represents amazing value because it's become my one 'luxury to me' watch and I'm enamored with it. It's so versatile especially with a collection of straps. I struggle to find fault with it.
I got a newly new bb54 and sold a bunch of cheaper watches so that I now only have the bb54 and a Reverso Duoface medium (plus a square Gshock 5610). I pretty much only wear the bb54
I have two Tudors - a BB58 925 with silver case that I bought to celebrate my 75th birthday, and a BB39 S&G that I was complimented on as being a really nice Rolex! Both bought new at a good price, and neither is going anywhere.
I bought my BB58 new at retail. I love the watch and wear it all the time, but a bit bummed about the loss in value. If I get another Tudor, will certainly be looking at the used market.
excellent video and funny enough I'm currently looking at a Black Bay Steel which also falls into this category and can be found for great prices on the used market.
If you're thinking about buying a new watch, now is definitely the time-and not just on the secondary market. Two weeks ago, I visited an official Longines boutique, and the salesperson immediately offered me an 8% discount on every watch without me even asking. She even mentioned that while more expensive brands are holding up well, watches in the 2-4k price range are struggling.
To be fair that’s how it was years back. I never paid retail even in ADs, used to be able to get discounts on Rolexes let alone all the other brands. The market isn’t tanking it’s just going back to normal.
Wearing my BB Pro, 1 of 4 Tudors I own (all new from the boutique), while watching. Would second the motion - great values and the designs are fantastic. Happy hunting!
I recently picked up a BB58 from the original owner with box, papers, tag, and crystal plastic for $2,450 on eBay. I don't plan on selling it because I've waited years for the prices to get good. Amazing watch, especially at a steep discount.
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from MAMACOO I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
Having loaded a ton of awesome Tudors into the secondary market at much less than I paid, I feel your pain mate! But I also suspect it’s all part of Tudor / Team Wilsdorf’s plan. And a wonderful one for watch fans everywhere.
Sorry, slightly off-topic as not price related - but I just didn't get the Pelagos 39 until I saw it out in the wild - and was transfixed!! Absolutely stunning in the flesh, I had to go up to the guy and ask him about it (I had been dragged into Ikea, so was pretty bored tbf). That combination of colours, textures and that pop of red - all at a super wearable 39mm. It's just stunning! Prices haven't really softeneed much yet, but it's still a bargain at list price.
Exactly my thoughts on the 39mm Ranger. Saw it on a guys wrist in the wild (while diving in Spain) had to go and chat. Thought it was an Explorer until I noticed the "12" on the dial. Size, all brushed, it looked perfect! I was rocking my FXD at the time so we had some real "Tudor" talk 🥃
@@ID-Guy That's really interesting - I keep looking at those Rangers in the shop window, wondering how they would look on-wrist! Great content, have a fantastic weekend! 🍻
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
I bought a Ranger on a bracelet off eBay for $1900 in near perfect condition. I took the bracelet and put it on my BB58 and gave the Ranger to my dad on a rubber strap as a travel watch. The bracelet from the Ranger is amazing.
Yes 100% - I have picked up a Heritage Ranger (79910) on a Leather Bund strap and a Heritage Black Bay Dark (79230DK) on the Jacquard Fabric strap - both from 2021- for well under the original retail and right near new Seiko SPB433J pricing. I am always looking for a North Flag with the 5621 movement at the right price.
Ah Dino! Congrats! And thank you brother! Afraid to say, I’m wearing a “pedestrian” 36mm Explorer 😉 Looks freaking tiny on me at times, right? While editing I thought “looks 34mm” - I’ve seen some stellar AK’s for sale lately… still one of the best vintage pieces out there to get! I hope yours is a gem 🔥
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I love my MN FXD that much that when the black variant drops in price a little more I'll pick one of those up too. But the Ranger is still the most underrated watch, the 39mm size is perfect imo and I haven't found a strap it doesn't work with.
Spot-on about the Ranger. Spotted it in the wild while away diving in the South of Spain, had to do a double take because it looked so good... thought it was an Explorer before seeing the "12" on the dial. Complimented him too and had a chat about "Tudors" in general (I was rocking the FXD) Stellar, stellar watch. Ever since I've been seriously considering adding a Ranger ;) 🥃
For whatever reason, I've been obsessed with Tudor recently... I just "discovered" the brand (before I've always just dismissed it as a Rolex knock-off, until I found out about the history and ties to Rolex). You have great taste... I've been ogling BB54 and Pelagos FXD. They're both fantastic looking pieces and stylistically different enough to warrant getting both! (FXD > BB58 blue)
Funny enough, I spotted one in the wild on a guys wrist for the first time while I was overseas and man did it look good. I’ve been seriously considering adding one (but if they bring out a 36mm with date? Oh boy 🔥)
I’m a Tudor lover for sure. It is definitely a surprise to see all models available for a discount. Even the gold BB58(on strap)! However, I do see Tudor making adjustments to this. What and when will be interesting to see.
Glad I help out the community? Just sold a new Root Beer GMT for $3,800 on the bay. This was a $6,000 watch at retail! Oh well, it was just time to let it go. I've owned over 12 Tudors and have 6 in my collection. Looking to pick a NOS Black Bay 41 79540 on bracelet. I always track the price of Black Bay Heritage ETA-Smiley models. These were expensive just a year ago. The prices are way down but of course the selection is short. Yes there are some great deals to be had!
I chased down and bought my 54 at full retail at an AD earlier this year because I dig it and know it’ll be a keeper. Why? Because to me it’s worth it. The majority of the watches I own have appreciated substantially over time, but were never bought with value retention in mind. Buy what you love and you’ll never be disappointed.
I'd pick up a blue BB when they release it as a Master Chronometer. Then again, there's a thought that constantly returns right before I pull the trigger and make a purchase. That' a few thousand dollars I can put toward a Rolex instead.
Gotta admit, some of these numbers from me are skewed. Should’ve added “rough estimates” - the BB54 was most likely a typo that I never went back to tweak. Thanks for pointing this out Seth 🥃
Love my BB58 blue had more than a few years and got it when it retailed below 3k- one of my fav watches all time- Im keeping an eye on ceramic IWC pilots 41 chrono right now, they are around 5k new atm, may drop further
I own couple of Tudors. For me the main issue is the gradual price increases. They have slowly moved the prices way too high: For example Pelagos cost now more than I paid for my Rolex Air-king pre-covid.... I don't know whats the global situation, but here you can pretty much order online any model directly from AD without waiting. Even the FDX's, Pro's and 54... This will tell me that market is completely dead here at moment.
TBH I'm wary of the Tudor super fans who insist on comparing Tudor to Omega so that Rolex can pretend to be worth what people are playing for them verses JLC, Vacheron, Patek etc (and let's be really honest - Rolex is nowhere near that company). Rolex owned companies will always be over hyped good watches.
You're right! You won't experience as much emotion wearing a Tudor compared to other watch brands at a similar price point. I really like Tudor; however, I'd rather pay a bit more for a Cartier, IWC, or Omega
I have four Tudors in my collection and because I bought well, I'm only just still doing OK value wise, apart from the Harrods. Over the last 24 months I've seen my collection rise to insane levels and drop down to more what I would call normal.
I deliberately left the S&G pieces out because their average prices still looked pretty steep at glance BUT you're spot-on, they meld so well AND compared to most TT pieces, a great pickup 🥃
Last month I bought a never worn 2022 Tudor Panda full set/box & stickered for 4k$. Absolutely nothing is worth retail anymore,NOTHING.I am happy w/ my purchase though & would buy another.
The opaline Dial GMT and the monochrome Black Bay are both excellent pieces. I fell in love with the GMT when I tried it on. I have a heritage 41mm Black Bay and it is a great watch. Is it my Rolex? No, but it’s not far off. Tudor is the best value for the buck out there.
Got my Black Bay 58 off Ebay for 2900 including tax last summer. Compared to 4000 from an AD. Total bargain but I feel that this is what these watches should be going for.
Getting Tudors for 2k just feels right, I know what you mean… wish these brands would be more “realistic” with their pricing. Actually had a whole segment of this video covering the subject (thought it meandered too much 😉)
I've bought a number of watches from Japan over the last year (Longines and Omega) and the prices were great. You're right, it's so refreshing. And it's the sheer availability too - the stock levels on the secondary market and it's a joy dealing with Japanese sellers. Been thinking about a P01 for some time … 🤔 Cheers IDGuy. Enjoyed the optimism, the world feels a bit doom and gloom atm, so thanks. Have a good one. 🫡
My GMt through eBay in 2023 with an eBay offered discount came in at £2100…6months old, box, papers, stickers still on it. Authenticated certificate. Couldn’t click buy quick enough. Hasn’t been off my wrist since it arrived. Omega SM & Rolex DJ sold on. No longer required.
I own a couple of Tudor watches. At one point I have decided to buy an Omega because I like the coaxial movements. I really tried to fall in love with Omegas but the finishes of Tudor are just lightning years ahead. It is just no comparison. You cant get a better entry level swiss watch than a Tudor
Most watches and Tudor is one of them, should only be bought pre owned. Tudor is not a watch that their should ever be a waiting list for lets be honest. Its decent bang for your buck but they are hardly incredible timepieces.
Purchasing a Tudor new makes little sense to me. It’s a de-premiumed Rolex, which already is a tool watch that is pumped out in the millions each season. So buying the sub premium version and still paying a premium just strikes me as bizarre. Buy Pre-Owned is my mantra for Tudor.
I have a ranger i bought new. I have a black bay i bought new. Burned money with it but i dont regret cause i love them. Sure i could saved round 500 bucks for both of them but its okay.
@niklaslinner93 I've lost money on watches as well (mainly Omega) but I refuse to make the same mistakes again. It kills the enjoyment of the hobby for me.
You and me both... one of the 5 main pieces I've been looking at (for months now) is the Blue XX... what a gorgeous, gorgeous machine! Exciting times to be in this hobby ;)

excellent video and funny enough I'm currently looking at a Black Bay Steel which also falls into this category and can be found for great prices on the used market.
It's a saturated market.
Love your channel!! Btw may I ask if that’s a vintage Air King on the wrist? If so I have a similar model arriving today.
Ah Dino!
Do you think you could bargain at an AD for a Tudor? I’m very interested in the Tudor pelagos fxd in titanium and the redbull carbon models.
Yep. Sure can, definitely get discount.
@@sidmoorful any suggestions on how to go about that? I can mention secondary market prices but that’s probably not the most suave
Thank you for making high quality videos!Love AMZWATCH ’s watches
Can definitely recommend the 54. Wears so nicely, love the sizing visually but also due to the weight.
On the Ranger hunt! Did not fancy one until I tried it on…looking forward to picking one up
Funny enough, I spotted one in the wild on a guys wrist for the first time while I was overseas and man did it look good. I’ve been seriously considering adding one (but if they bring out a 36mm with date? Oh boy 🔥)
A friend of mine picked up a FXD for only 2100 euro. Insane to consider they sold for double that less than a year ago
Spot-on. Think I got mine for 3k pounds 2 years back... oh how times have changed! 🥃
The new burgundy metas black bay 41 can be had for around $4k CAD which is absolutely amazing!
Does the Ranger strap fit on the BB54? I mean also with the springbars through it? Thanks! 9:14
Bought a BB heritage smiley blue in 2019 and love the proportions and thinner case as well as the non rivet bracelet.
I’m a Tudor lover for sure. It is definitely a surprise to see all models available for a discount. Even the gold BB58(on strap)!
However, I do see Tudor making adjustments to this. What and when will be interesting to see.
Where is the bb54 going for 2-2800 usd? Not eBay that’s for sure
Love the Tudors. Thank you for highlighting them.
I'd pick up a blue BB when they release it as a Master Chronometer. Then again, there's a thought that constantly returns right before I pull the trigger and make a purchase.
That' a few thousand dollars I can put toward a Rolex instead.
Where are you finding BB54s for $2000-2800? Is that a typo? I'm seeing them on eBay/Chrono24 around $3200-3500.
Gotta admit, some of these numbers from me are skewed. Should’ve added “rough estimates” - the BB54 was most likely a typo that I never went back to tweak. Thanks for pointing this out Seth 🥃
@@ID-Guy thanks for the response! Got my hopes up but that's still a nice discount for a piece that only came out last year 🙂
Singapore
The BB54 is permanent in my collection. It’s very special. Personally, love it on a Bond NATO.
If only they’d give it pencil hands (I know, it’s always my complaint) but the size, proportions, thickness? Perfect…
@@ID-GuyI saw someone on Reddit who had pencil hands installed in the 54. Looked incredible
Yeah, it killed my itch to buy most other watches. It's brilliant.
Are prices also down on the Tudor Royal? If so by approx how much...
In 2021 I bought a second-hand Pelagos for £2500…18 months later they were upto £3500. Didn’t seem to be any reason for it.
Love my BB58 blue had more than a few years and got it when it retailed below 3k- one of my fav watches all time- Im keeping an eye on ceramic IWC pilots 41 chrono right now, they are around 5k new atm, may drop further
I recommend the Tudor Heritage Advisor
I own couple of Tudors. For me the main issue is the gradual price increases. They have slowly moved the prices way too high: For example Pelagos cost now more than I paid for my Rolex Air-king pre-covid.... I don't know whats the global situation, but here you can pretty much order online any model directly from AD without waiting. Even the FDX's, Pro's and 54... This will tell me that market is completely dead here at moment.
This brand is all marketing and the connection to Rolex. I’ve never felt any emotion wearing a Tudor
🙄
TBH I'm wary of the Tudor super fans who insist on comparing Tudor to Omega so that Rolex can pretend to be worth what people are playing for them verses JLC, Vacheron, Patek etc (and let's be really honest - Rolex is nowhere near that company). Rolex owned companies will always be over hyped good watches.
You're right! You won't experience as much emotion wearing a Tudor compared to other watch brands at a similar price point. I really like Tudor; however, I'd rather pay a bit more for a Cartier, IWC, or Omega
Tudor as tool for not feeling any emotion
Well I guess it's time to subscribe. I keep watching this channel and it's pretty damn good.
I have a huge crush on the blue Monte Carlo recently discontinued..found one nos I don’t think I can pass on
They don’t make em like they used to, right? Those colours just sing. Still baffles me that they don’t push out more creative piece like those today 🥃
I have four Tudors in my collection and because I bought well, I'm only just still doing OK value wise, apart from the Harrods. Over the last 24 months I've seen my collection rise to insane levels and drop down to more what I would call normal.
You dont mention the Black Bay Steel & Gold 41 Very nice formal or casual looks great
I deliberately left the S&G pieces out because their average prices still looked pretty steep at glance BUT you're spot-on, they meld so well AND compared to most TT pieces, a great pickup 🥃
But- they DO have conveyor belts that travel through the walls at their assembly plant.
Been thinking about a P01 for some time … 🤔
Cheers IDGuy. Enjoyed the optimism, the world feels a bit doom and gloom atm, so thanks.
Have a good one.

Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the MAMACOO’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
This was a great video.
I’d take a Pelagos FXD, a BB Pro, and a Bronze BB very happily. Perhaps I need to go watch hunting.
Oh and I love the Diet Pepsi above the Diet Coke by a lot so one of those too.
The Tudors are piled up in the dealerships. They’re going to need more cases.
I can't see how yet another Rolex homage is value for money at that price
@@xpusostomos agree. I dont understand the fascination with Tudor at all. It is a homage brand
Watching the prices of iwc’s drop is great, I can’t wait to pick up an xx.
You and me both... one of the 5 main pieces I've been looking at (for months now) is the Blue XX... what a gorgeous, gorgeous machine! Exciting times to be in this hobby ;)
Yes, one of each please. 🙂 Had my eye on a White, GMT lately. 👍
Who makes the leather wrist strap shown at the 1:55 mark?
Waiting on a black bay 58 GMT in monotone… a watch they haven’t even come out with yet. But if/when they do.. I’ll be fighting to get one first.
Phew, similar to the OG 1675… I can just imagine how stellar it would look! 🔥
A blackbay 58 Blue used is going for USD $1800 ~ 2000 these days.
Outstanding video.I have to go with the MAMACOO, especially with that green dial as my favorite
