Places are now available at the Leaving Certificate Music Course (ONLINE), a one-year intensive course covering the entire Leaving Certificate Music syllabus. The course begins in September 2023 at the Institute of Education in Dublin and will be run online. Section D1
This is new music which is based on the Irish tune "Beidh Aonach Amarach". It features seventeen bars of melody on violin with cello accompaniment. The accompaniment is somewhat similar to that provided in B1 - a two-note repeated motif, creating a frantic, homophonic texture.
