Most badass feeling in the world riding a roller coaster for the first time ever and walking over to your parents at the End like " yeah I just did that "😂
Valravn was awesome! I rode it opening day after waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes in line. When I got off, the Fast Lane was a 30 minute wait! That's like waiting in the normal line for anything else (except Top Thrill Dragster)!
As a coaster nerd and someone who has ridden Valravn many times, I find this ride terrifying. Seriously. Then end seat, front row - it's absolutely terrifying!!!
its the best part of the ride! the barrel roll right after the dive loop is sooooooo much fun its makes you feel like your going in slow motion and you feel so weighless
My favorite roller coaster by far! I went to Cedar Point last week for the first time when I was on vacation. The waiting line for this new ride for me was 2 hours (so popular!) while every other coaster were like 5 minutes line wait.
Cedar Point doesn't allow anyone to film on their rides, so you'll only be able to view what the park has posted on their RUclips channel as far as POVs are concerned.
I have numerous clips of Gatekeeper's Keyholes at the front entrance while I was in Ohio. I want to go back to gain off ride shots for Valravn and Millennium
I'm going to Cedar Point in a couple weeks!! I'm so excited last time I went the newest roller coaster was the Gatekeeper, I haven't been in so long!!!
Go here mid-week during the third or fourth week of August after all the kids have gone back to school. There's hardly any wait time on any of the rides.
I finally rode this yesterday. COuple things, i get why enthusiasts don't get so excited over B&M's but this was a good ride. I liked Sheikra a bit more from a theming standpoint but the view on this is wonderful. I've also read comments that the vests limit the ride? i didn't think so at all. So, CP was smart with adding this attraction.
I give it an 8/10. The drop was ok, but I actually like when it slows down when you go through that roll where you're not pinned to your seat and you fall up into the restraints a bit.
Haven't been to Cedar Point in almost a decade. I'm probably going this weekend, and I hope Valravn lives up to the hype. Although I've heard a lot of people aren't happy with it.
Everyone's comparing Valravn to other B&M dive coasters (like Griffon), but I wonder how it compares to rides like Cannibal? I feel like the lap bars and beyond vertical drop would be superior, but I've only ridden Cannibal so idk if my opinion would be valid... has anyone ridden both?
I didn't even know this was open until today. When I found out I was like "damn they built that fast" this is their like what. 17th coaster? Looks like they are catching up to Magic Mountain
going I to that immelman loop I always almost black out, I k ow the because every time I've ridden it which has been 4 times this happens, along with gatekeeper, any advice?
We went mid week in late August after all the kids went back to school and most rides and no wait time which was awesome. We'll be doing that again this summer.
Can't wait to ride this. I'm thinking one morning ride, and then no wait times on anything else the rest of the day. Millie and Maverick would be the most worth it.
I was there this past week for 2 days and on both days we went it was open from when the park opened till about noon or one then broke down till late in the evening around 9pm after a lot of test runs. We left Thursday morning around 11 and it was already down for the day with people stuck on it at the end. Very fun ride though.
Last time I was there, I was gonna ride this. But right as people got off the train we were gonna get on, it started raining. They stopped the ride and we had to leave.
My ears were popping at the top of this! The sad thing is, you get assigned rows on this. I got assigned to the back row which was really disappointing because i didnt get hanged on the first drop. But other than that, the ride was fun!
Believe it or not, I actually like both Skeikra and Griffon better than this. Mostly because the restraints they use put a lot of pressure on the bones of the upper chest, especially the lower neck. And even though I've ridden other coaster with those restraints and felt nothing, you can really feel the pressure of the restraints on this ride when you hit the elevated break run at the end of the ride. Plus, and I am being a little sarcastic about this, Valravn doesn't have a splashdown ending and Sheikra has a tunnel (Griffon does to if you count the part where it goes under the bridge at the bottom of the first drop). I still like Valravn though, don't get me wrong.
I’ve ridden both and I personally like Valravn much more because it is much larger. Now i’m no GP saying bigger is better. It’s just that the larger it is, the more speed you have for more elements. And I like the amount of floatation you get.
Sanic is here Well first Your mom shouldn't be forcing you on something above your standards or something you're not ready yet But you can write yourself a little note that you can do it. After you ride it you're going to be pround you did.
Look better? First of all why would looks matter? I understand how they would look different, but the vest restraints look way better because you can see the riders more, instead of having two hard sticks hold you down. And also they are way more comfy. If for some reason they hurt, maybe you’re just sitting wrong or, ahem, too large. And like he said, N O H E A D B A N G I N G
Coaster looks ok...but I miss the splash...I miss speed and original layout...and no theming.... Missed opportunity.... Bush Gardens does know how to do it....
I like the splashdown too, but Hey, the extra size is nice, and the taller the more of that 90 degree drop you’ll get. And I love those valravn plushies. 👑🐦
Most badass feeling in the world riding a roller coaster for the first time ever and walking over to your parents at the End like " yeah I just did that "😂
Jared Novak 😂😂😂😂😂
Damn you’re a badass dude
yeah i need to do this
And me too.
Nah Not Really But I've Been A Coaster Enthusiast For Over 7 Years
Rode this in the front 3 times yesterday. Amazing attraction... Easily one of my favorites. At night, It was memorable
I love how at 2:07 a train just goes over the Top Thrill Dragster in the background. That was an amazing coincidence.
Valravn was awesome! I rode it opening day after waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes in line. When I got off, the Fast Lane was a 30 minute wait! That's like waiting in the normal line for anything else (except Top Thrill Dragster)!

Taylor R 😂😂😂😂😂
Wow.
I GOT ON THAT, THE VERTICAL DROP AINT NO JOKE!
I'm gonna ride this next week. Is the drop really that bad? Maverick's drop is definitely steep but I don't remember it being that bad.
it's really is...it's really is -_-
+Steven Byers it isn't bad at all
its the best part of the ride! the barrel roll right after the dive loop is sooooooo much fun its makes you feel like your going in slow motion and you feel so weighless
TechxGamer it’s fun as rat testies
This ride looks way bigger in person
Not really, millie and dragster tower over it and make it seem smaller than it really is
KyleJPie10 I know that they both tower over Valravn, but valravn still looks smaller in videos or pictures
It does indeed. The "train/car" is huge. The track is seriously bulking looking also.
So are the tracks. They're pretty bigger than Rougarou, Gatekeeper, and Raptor.
Ikr I went there in 2016 and it was HUGE until I saw dragster lol
My favorite roller coaster by far! I went to Cedar Point last week for the first time when I was on vacation. The waiting line for this new ride for me was 2 hours (so popular!) while every other coaster were like 5 minutes line wait.
That is cause this one is brand new, so everyone wants to ride it.
+TheCubicBeat - Exactly. That's what I also thought.
do you happen to remember what the wait was for the fast lane? I'm considering buying those, I want to find out if they're worth it lol
When we were there filming the regular queue line was about 90 minutes and the fast lane was only 10 minutes.
+Fall Out Boy Trash went Monday, with fast lane it's 5-10 mins later in the day
AWESOME OFF RIDE VIDEO! I was so surprised and happy to find this on my subscriptions feed. Can't wait for the 4K and HD POVs of Valravn! :-)
Cedar Point doesn't allow anyone to film on their rides, so you'll only be able to view what the park has posted on their RUclips channel as far as POVs are concerned.
+CoasterForce Oh alright :(
Haven't you filmed on their rides before? I've sen POVs of Wicked Twister and Maverick on other youtube pages, including yours
+Crusader Cat No, but I have filmed one off ride video of GateKeeper
I have numerous clips of Gatekeeper's Keyholes at the front entrance while I was in Ohio. I want to go back to gain off ride shots for Valravn and Millennium
One of my favorite rides at cedar point! This ride is amazing!❤🎉 a must if you go to cedar point! It’s very smooth and altogether very fun!
Best drop in the park. I didn't want to admit it because Millennium Force is so good.
Would've been better with restraints like Sheikra's
Hard over the shoulder restraints? Hell na miss me with that I’ll take the vest restraints.
That 1st drop doesn't play no games 🤣🤣
I'm going to Cedar Point in a couple weeks!! I'm so excited last time I went the newest roller coaster was the Gatekeeper, I haven't been in so long!!!
Go here mid-week during the third or fourth week of August after all the kids have gone back to school. There's hardly any wait time on any of the rides.
I lost my phone on this ride lmao but overall great dive coaster can’t wait to get back to this park after 3 years!
awesome ride! I look forward to riding this in July.
THE BEST ROLLER COASTER IN THE WORLD❣️❣️❣️😊🤗🙌🙌🙌
I can't WAIT to go here in July,I'm getting me a fast pass and riding everything in the front row!!!
Everyone calls it a one-trick pony, but the most underrated quality about it is the roll going in to the final helix. It's basically a zero-g stall.
I give it an 8/10.
The drop was ok, but I actually like when it slows down when you go through that roll where you're not pinned to your seat and you fall up into the restraints a bit.
Nice coaster and great channel man! :-) awesome filming...
Do the vests lock like on the wing coasters, because I've heard they don't?
XBCPGamer29 it's safe don't worry about it
Haven't been to Cedar Point in almost a decade. I'm probably going this weekend, and I hope Valravn lives up to the hype. Although I've heard a lot of people aren't happy with it.
It's exactly what you would expect
Tim Wendt how was it?
It was a great time. I'm looking forward to going back. Valravn wasn't my favorite but it was still pretty good
It’s funny how enthusiasts hate these so much but the GP eats them up.
cant wait, going on my birthday the 10th of september for the 2nd time this year
Everyone's comparing Valravn to other B&M dive coasters (like Griffon), but I wonder how it compares to rides like Cannibal? I feel like the lap bars and beyond vertical drop would be superior, but I've only ridden Cannibal so idk if my opinion would be valid... has anyone ridden both?
I didn't even know this was open until today. When I found out I was like "damn they built that fast" this is their like what. 17th coaster? Looks like they are catching up to Magic Mountain
Do you get butterflies in your stomach in the first drop or ejector airtime on valravn +Coaster Force
U should try the new attraction on Tusenfryd, the name is Ragnarok!
going I to that immelman loop I always almost black out, I k ow the because every time I've ridden it which has been 4 times this happens, along with gatekeeper, any advice?
I'm going to Ceder point on sept 3rd any tips because I haven't been to the park sense 2012
Boom The Gamer by a fast lane wrist band. It's like $100 but for me it's worth it. I have to drive from Minnesota when I go.
We went mid week in late August after all the kids went back to school and most rides and no wait time which was awesome. We'll be doing that again this summer.
This looks like so much fun.
My favorite rollar coaster was the gatekeeper and the Valraven
Can't wait to ride this. I'm thinking one morning ride, and then no wait times on anything else the rest of the day. Millie and Maverick would be the most worth it.
I was there this past week for 2 days and on both days we went it was open from when the park opened till about noon or one then broke down till late in the evening around 9pm after a lot of test runs. them girls screamed loud on the second drop on 1:46 seconds
My second favorite coaster at the point!
+Music 4U ?
Millennium my overall favorite!
Last time I was there, I was gonna ride this. But right as people got off the train we were gonna get on, it started raining. They stopped the ride and we had to leave.
What are those 3 clicks when it goes through the zero-g roll?
The anti rolls backs and chain dogs.
What is that sound that keeps happening right after the twist? Trim brake?
The clang sound you are most likely referring to is probably the wheels re-engaging with the track after a moment of weightlessness.
Can't wait I'm going hear on July 15 and I will have early ride time to ride this
Roller Coaster Central Thats my birthday :)
JakeyStar 2019 who cares u brat
Please do more roller coaster povs
What other coasters are like this, smooth, not rough or too fast?
Pretty much all RMCs and most B&Ms
THIS COASTER ROCKS LIKE HELL!!!!+
Nice coaster makes me want to ride it
My ears were popping at the top of this! The sad thing is, you get assigned rows on this. I got assigned to the back row which was really disappointing because i didnt get hanged on the first drop. But other than that, the ride was fun!
Was just there today!
anyone else come here to compare CW's Yukon Striker to this?
rode it yesterday but my favorite was the gate kepper
Imagine if there was a dive coaster with a vertical loop
Cedar Point but its roller coaster tycoon:
I love dive custom coaster 1!
My second favorite ride at CP after Maverick! But that final stretch of brakes is awful.
No kidding. Like having a jerk uncle stomp on the brakes over and over.
Riding it more today :)
I like this dive coaster but it doesn't have a splash
Could've been better but still fun for what it offers.
Chasecraze Everdayz I haven't been to Cedar Point for a few years just curious how was the climb in the drop on valravn
Really? This was my husband's favorite ride. He rode it 3 times in one day last summer.
Looks like Canada's wonderland may steal the crown, appears we may see a giga give coaster up here.. Great concept
I have a video from amusement guy here whom does great videos
Rode this yesterday, fucking crazy!!!
Is the Sheikra suster?
Sister*
Sheikra's big brother ;)
+LikeAsir8 This is it's small brother.
How can that be if Valravn is the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster?
LikeAsir8 Bigger brother= Older brother and Sheikra is 11 yrs older.
I still like Valravn though, don't get me wrong.
This ride is nit as bad as it seems but that drop doesn’t play
I rode this coaster on opening day... I must say that Griffon at Busch Gardens Willamsburg is so much better
You're fooling yourself if you think it's any different.
Kylie your honestly stupid because it is
I’ve ridden both and I personally like Valravn much more because it is much larger. Now i’m no GP saying bigger is better. It’s just that the larger it is, the more speed you have for more elements. And I like the amount of floatation you get.
I don't get the point of gates for the coaster
sportsMike87 its a dive coaster
GOING DOWN?!
Average wait time?
Probably 2 hours.
Depends on when you go.
B & M ??
Obviously
ok true
Oh my God. I have to go to Cedar Point on July 7th.... My mom is going to force me to ride this, I just a know it. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
Sanic is here Well first Your mom shouldn't be forcing you on something above your standards or something you're not ready yet
But you can write yourself a little note that you can do it. After you ride it you're going to be pround you did.
Being honest this ride is not worth waiting for 2 hours. The only good thing about this ride is the first drop everything else is boring.
Seriously, is that all you show now, the rides in motion? What happened to the front seat camera? If this is it, I'm gone.
I think Cedar Point no longer allows cameras on rides.
Cedar Point doesn't allow anyone to film on their rides. If they did we would have posted an on-ride POV as well, like we do everywhere else
If you want to watch the POV of the Valravn, you'll have to watch it on Cedar Point's RUclips channel. /watch?v=sEydyLJ-wjw
Why are you complaining on this video when it says right in the title "Off ride" YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE CLICKING ON, DUMBASS!
Lmao! :'D
67,000th view!
I rode that ride it was fun
i went on this in the rain at night, but we fell faster than the rain so it fell upward.
🤔
Looks exactly like Shiekra from Busch Gardens Tampa
I honestly am not in favor of these new B&M restraints! The old ones just look much better to me!
Very similar to SheiKra at Busch gardens
Not even close
+Hammad Khan yea it is this ride just had an extra loop
They didn't add any loops, but hey did add two inversions
TommySoccer22 who cares
Cw’s dive is gonna shit all over this
These rides are one trick ponies.
I like
I love uu ❤️❤️😂😂
Yukon Striker
I'm not crazy about the design on this ride
0:08 there's a black man
Jonathan Davis ok?
Jonathan Davis epic
Omg genial
Coaster looks ok...but I miss the splash...I miss speed and original layout...and no theming....
Missed opportunity....
Bush Gardens does know how to do it....
Exactly why I believe both Griffon and SheiKra are better than this.
Eccentric Gamer but you do play games on your computer.... ;)
I like the splashdown too, but Hey, the extra size is nice, and the taller the more of that 90 degree drop you’ll get. And I love those valravn plushies. 👑🐦
sldorhout1 ok?
Splashdowns are honestly the most shitty things to exist.
Copy from Bush Gardens
NOPE
this is lame
How it's the worlds tallest fastest longest dive coaster
Copied sheikra
But Sheikra wasn't the original dive coaster.
Actually no one copied anyone. But if that's how you wanna play then Sheikra copied Griffon and Oblivion
+Drench TZR griffon came after sheikra but oblivion was before both
