The questions are not necessarily easier but they're usually a lot less obscure than they were on this particular edition of the programme - these ones were a nightmare.
Blimey their pushbacks really were amazing! It's like they answered more of Anne Hegerty's questions to push her back than they answered of their own final round questions.

She was obviously flustered, as evidenced by her 36 = 2 1/2 dozen answer.
She’s admitted in the past that she “can’t count” due to being afflicted by dyscalcula, so she naturally isn’t a fan of the maths questions.
They won … with 12.
Edit: But Anne hit the nail on the head. If you don’t know the answers and can’t work them out - that’s that.
When in form they can beat twenty but as this shows it an go the other way. Quite ironic.

I know the title spoils they won, but I still didn't really believe it until watching!

It's a bit like going out on a date with someone to the restaurant and after coming out of the lavatory, they then forget you by sneaking out the back door straight away leaving you stranded in the table. Hahahaha 🤣😂
A lot of times quiz games are mostly just luck; you could know the answers to a million questions and be asked none of them in your round.

Shaun Wallace got beaten by a score of ELEVEN on a "celebrity" Chase that that I saw yesterday on Challenge TV. Shocking when Chasers get beaten by scores lower than like 13 or so.
Yeah celebrity chases are fixed they are told to lose on them, to give the show a better profile for charity

To think these guys only managed 12 but with a rotten set of questions, the chaser only got 5, while another team can get 26 and have Mark sit down and give 26 answers in a straight line... Maybe the questions are roughly equivilant in difficulty because thatd explain why they do so well against opponents with scores in the 20s

@@ThorHC11 Exactly, Anne is actually proven statistically to be the strongest chaser of the 6 with the highest overall win rate, so if she was beaten then they must've been some brutal questions.
