I love this game. In an indirect way, Flesh and Blood inspired me to go back to school. Without the passion the game inspired in me and in my friends, I would have never tried writing or started a podcast with them. If I hadn't started doing content for FAB, I would never have invested in getting a decent computer set up. Now that I've got the set up to do our pod, I couldn't continue to justify trying to take care of my family without a college education. I'm starting a Bachelor's degree program for Digital Marketing this coming Monday. (11-20-23) James, if you read this, thank you for inspiring me to give my kids a better life. #fabdad
I was introduced to Flesh and Blood last December, through my buddy and the Ira welcome decks. I'll be honest, I wasn't super impressed by that, just enough to be willing to give it a shot whenever my friends brought some decks. When the OGL situation happened in January, I saw it as a perfect chance to stop buying MtG and ordered an Azalea deck online. By the time the OGL situation was resolved, there was no going back. I fell hard for the playstyle of Azalea, the feel of the game, the quick decisions you need to make every turn, and most importantly, that it felt like my skill as a player actually matter, not just who gets mana screwed. I went from buying MtG every couple of months and playing occasionally to having to put a limit on my spending for my FaB collection and going to the armory every Friday. I've met new people and made new friends. It's truly a fantastic experience.
FaB's been the most enjoyable and satisfying tcg Ive ever played, especially at a semi-competetive / competetive level. Proud to be part of such a great community.

I think the gdr counterpart of this wonderful game truly accommodates players and make them feel like THEY are the hero. I’ve been playing since crucible came out, seen yesterday Adult Kassai and my god I’ve been waiting for her ahaha and now it’s a reality! So grateful to LSS to be so close and to pay so much attention to make the players and the community feel good, and in the end that’s what’s really matters.
