Does it work with Google assistant?

What about the sounder battery. Can it be recharged and how often will that need to be done. I really dislike the shape of the pir and window switches as they do not have flat surfaces to make it easy to attach with velcro or to sit on a shelf

The sounder uses 4 D cells and they seem to last a year or two. Rechargeables would probably self-discharge sooner and might also cause problems with slightly lower voltage.

Hi, does this have a door chime when the door is opened?

Yes it does. You can also enable the chime function on the PIR sensors.

I have an earlier Yale alarm (the HSA6400) and the one thing that annoys me about it is if you arm the system and a door or window contact is open it won't recognise that and still arm anyway. Professional alarms don't do this, so can anyone tell me if this new Yale one has the same design fault please?

Hi, just to be sure… by “remotely disarming with app”, does it mean I could silence the siren remotely with the app after it goes off? Thanks
