    Wish we could see the ailerons,
    the largest control gets too little credit. The wee rudder, the smallest gets too much credit.

    Intrigued by the title, and the title says it all. BTW I get a better idea of what my rudder is doing on windy landings.

    LOL. that's awesome! Great video.. really points out the amount of abuse those little guys routinely take. I had to get rid of the Scott 3200 I originally put on my Skybolt.. it started to shimmy a lot more often than I thought it should, and it would get down right ugly at times. I was worried about breaking a weld in the tail structure. I tried everything I could find on the topic as a remedy. Nothing "cured" it. I changed over to an API tailwheel and haven't had a bit of shimmy since. I attribute it to a much simpler locking mechanism that I believe is a lot more effective than the Scott style.
