- Hi friends! SO glad to finally have this video out. I flew this AA Flagship First Class transatlantic flight in February, at the end of my month with my family, and I've only finished editing it now! Life just got in the way. I'm SO thrilled to finally bring you a first class flight redemption to the channel! You all know how much I love points and miles, so I'm thrilled to finally show you an actual first class flight I booked with points! Hopefully more to come!
This flight cost me 47,500 American Airlines miles (it was one of their Web Special awards) and just $5.60 in taxes!
Goodness, this makes us want to start flying American for the perks alone. 👀A morning mimosa in the flight lounge! Definitely has that 'first class/business' lounge vibe. And so much legroom in your seat! We are constantly flying Southwest because we rarely fly outside the US and the individual flight pricing is cheaper - but the rewards program through Southwest leaves something to be desired, and there is no such thing as 'first class' on a Boeing 737. Might have to explore the alternatives as we expand our travel circle! 😊 Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for watching! I really love flying Southwest but I agree about their loyalty program and lack of first or business 🫤. If you can fly AA first or business (especially now that the Flagship First dining has reopened in most locations) I definitely would!
Being handed a mimosa right away in the lounge sounds like a dream!
actually, the side armrest can be lowered so you in fact could leave the seat even when the table is out!
See, I thought that, but I had a lot of trouble trying to lower the arm rest! Maybe it was just my seat.
@@DanielleDoherty yes, it must have been just your seat because when you pores and push down, it will go down and you can slide sideways off your seat.
