    Some consumers may wash or rinse their raw meat or poultry because it's a habit or because a family member they trust has always washed their meat. No, potatoes need a lot of salt. There's a lot of salt in the rice mixes. You could put all your seasonings in a large bag and do a 'shake 'n bake'

    • @unionrdr
      @unionrdr 3 месяца назад +5

      It doesn't need more salt added. Plenty in those soup mixes. In a casserole, the chicken would be easier to eat cut in slices crossways. Casseroles are easy and fun, but a bit more forethought is better.

    Ok i googled it and the CDC says to not wash your chicken. It just spreads more germs around your kitchen. You really think that if the chicken has germs and bacteria a little bit of water will take care of it? No. Cooking it at a high heat does though. So just make sure its cooked all the way.

Usually it's a professional butcher and they do use gloves by the way. But...any germs do get killed off when heated at a proper temperature for the meat. No worries.
