omg it would be awesome if you would do a video trying to bring out your natural curl pattern as much as possible before bleaching it again! Cause on your regrowth the curl should be the strongest
I really love Bailey with the black hair, she most likely won't because if you guys watch Bailey she destroyed her hair with bleach and she said she would never do it again
Love the silver, it's probably the prettiest silver I have seen! The mint though...I found it looking like it was a faded/washed out green or darker mint. If it's supposed to be more of a tint I get why they went for that color, but when I hear mint I think of something a bit more vibrant than this, even if it's a pastel.
the dusty lavendar comes out that shade of green too!! it’s SCARYYY to apply swamp green and knowing it’s a light dusty lavendar. 😳😳 scares clients every time.
Would love to see you try out some Matrix blonde toners though. They have a huge range for blondes and I feel like they are very underated. I love the sheer pastel line they have for very light blonde without fear of overtoning. I switched from Redken EQ for blondes to Matrix because Redken seems to have a much stronger dye load which can sometimes dull my blonde unexpectedly, especially for at home use, when you can't move as quickly!
i've used this dye andddd i've used their flamingo pink (i dont remember the exact name but it was the fucsia / magenta one) andddd i really liked it. my newly bleached hair parts grabbed onto the color way more than the damaged parts, but overall had a nice fading process. also, as you've seen they have a really high "coverage". in general i loved that shade, i wish i had it for a longer period of time
That colours reminds me a lot of the old good dye young colours there was some shades where look way more different out of the tube and as it prossesed it turns into the colour it was supposed to be.
Totally in love with the mint color! Maybe its just the camera or the blue undertone already there, but I was a little underwhelmed by the silver. Still, looks lovely on you.
I love socolor! They even have a permanent range for their vibrant colors which really stick. The silvers are perfect and have a slight reflect to them to make them seem more metallic and not so flat
We use the so color vivids in the salon I work at, and I love them. The mint silver, and some of the other pastels can be hit or miss depending on the starting color of the hair, but all the other colors are amazing! I definitely think you should try to do @ rainbow look with them in the future !
Que genial ver este video, me habia asustado ya que compré el color disco plateado y se veia azul 😂 me dejaste mas tranquila, se ve hermoso el gris!!! I love it
I tried two different purple tones on a client and it looked very stranger out of the tube, I think it’s their formula. The colour turned out well though!
I haven't tried theses yet....but Aislinn, I love the minty green! I think it looks soo pretty..The silver looks nice in your hair as well, but I'm really liking that green...(it did look kind of bad coming out of the tube though..lol)
cobalt pigment is more of an ultramarine/indigo blue that tends purple as opposed to like a cyan color (which sits closer to green) so it diffuses the natural brass color in hair a little more than like a neon blue would which is how you would get a cool silver instead of green :D
I feel for the mint to be that vibrant/maybe a lighter tint on the box, makes me want it to be lighter on hair. It’s just odd for brands to put a color on a box & have it not match closely.
Are they advertised to be vibrant or is it just for kind of a tint? Just curious for future reference. Love your videos! BRB while I go dye my hair haha
@@dbalas7 That's not what they're asking! 🥰 Some semi permanent shades are advertised to be full coverage and vibrant, while others are intended to be used to give light tints to the hair.
I got the royal purple one done and it's very vibrant. I'd say it depends on each dye because I saw ones that were more tinters than full on dye. So do a bit of research on the colour you want to try
I have used it before. I've used the demi in flamenco fuschia and mermaid teal, and semi of royal purple and red hot. It has been a couple years since doing the demi, but I think it turned out well for me. The semi was great at first, but especially the red came out really quick and now my hair is more of a rose gold color on that side since I started with a still brown base (about lv6.5-7). Actually getting ready to refresh my colors, but will probably try to find the demi so it lasts a little longer.
This is the same experience I had with this dye! We got some in at the salon I work at and I tested some on a mannequin.... used some pinks, purples, blue and teal... and they all came out of the tube murky like this. The only ones that worked as expected were pink... the purple looked more like a pink than the purple it was on the tube. very disappointed.
Hey I’m a professional and there are a lot more to the line but some of them are very much trust the process like the stonewashed denim is green in the tube and purple when it processes!! Also love the combo!♥️♥️❤️❤️
I got the Sweet Mint and saw the color out of the tube and decided not to put it on my hair. This video was so interesting to see how it actually turns out! ☺️
I'm currently bleaching my regrowth and doing a bleach bath to get the purple out of my hair. I start my new job at walgreens tomorrow as a beauty consultant. Wish me luck 🙏 😅
Honestly I'm really excited to see you bleach your roots not because I want all your hair to be blonde but because I want to see how you bleach your hair it being so grown out, And how you're able to keep it even which I know is very hard.
I think you'll really enjoy the Matrix colours! I used a combo of the pinks in my hair earlier this year and they seem to come out of the hair pretty easily. I have Pulp Riot in my hair at the moment and I'd put them about on par with each other.
was not expecting this!! turned out so good! I was scared to try it out cause of the price point but now I'm definitely going to try it out in the future! would love to see you try more of their bright and vivid colors in the future! also I'm obsessed with their packaging it so freaking cute!
i tried this dye last year while i was at work, i decided with my coworker to try the mint shade on my white moneypiece and we were shook in the tube it looks terrible but the outcome was amazing ❤️
I think i saw Caitlyn ford use a darker gray from this brand once, it came out brught purple but even when she swatched it on white paper it was gray on the paper but purple on the brush sooooo weird hahaha
girl you need to actually trust the process and start leaving the dyes on for the recommended time. i need to see them at full vibrancy because these colors are gorgeous 😍😍
... every other time I wash my hair I find myself dying my hair now... (although I just settled on purple/lavender I think) and I think watching your videos (which then inspired lots of other videos) has normalized that for me. I started by bleaching my son's hair, then did mine... then... it snowballed.
I’m a professional hair stylist who uses solely Matrix color…the sweet mint will only show up that pale sweet mint color, if applied to very light blonde hair, pre lightened. The silver color is highly pigmented with blue to cancel out all yellow tones to give you that very silvery color you want! All fashion colors, and cult colors are meant to be applied to VERY BLONDE PRE LIGHTENED HAIR. 💓
My niece has used socolor cult navy bleu but not the semi one. She used the direct one, her hair stylist gave it to her and said to just aply it on clean hair and it came out really pastel and not what she wanted... Can you try the direct one for me please? Love you video's by the way❤️❤️❤️
The reason the colors are muddy looking is because they have pearl (purple blue mix) to neutralize the left over yellow/blorange post bleaching virgin hair. Most mint and silver colors end up looking muddy or non existent on the hair because they don’t do that.
This Matrix line is definitely weird I’ve tried dusty lavender and it’s a poop green color coming out of the tube and it develops on the hair but I’ve also removed dusty lavender from my hair and it strips to a mint color and it’s pretty harsh to remove that’s mint color out.
I don't get why you expect the dye to look exactly like the color it will deposit. Yeah, a lot of them do, but a lot of them don't, especially the professional natural colors. Clothing dyes also usually don't look anything like the color that the clothes come out. Chemistry is weird.
omg it would be awesome if you would do a video trying to bring out your natural curl pattern as much as possible before bleaching it again! Cause on your regrowth the curl should be the strongest
We need to see Aislinn dye BaileySarians hair while she tells a true crime story 🤩
I second this!
OMG YEASSSS PLEASEEEE!!!!! And a video of Bailey doing Aislinns makeup!!! 🤩🤩
I can definitely see this!
I really love Bailey with the black hair, she most likely won't because if you guys watch Bailey she destroyed her hair with bleach and she said she would never do it again
Omg that would be sooooo cool!! Bailey mentioned wanting to go back to blonde on her latest dark history video 😍😍
The salon I work at uses SoCult for vivid colors and they still scare me to put them on clients 😂 They always turn out accurate to the box though
omg same
SAME
Love the silver, it's probably the prettiest silver I have seen! The mint though...I found it looking like it was a faded/washed out green or darker mint. If it's supposed to be more of a tint I get why they went for that color, but when I hear mint I think of something a bit more vibrant than this, even if it's a pastel.
I would love that green on a whole head though, very earthy and forresty and fairy like. Kinda obsessed with the color
the dusty lavendar comes out that shade of green too!! it’s SCARYYY to apply swamp green and knowing it’s a light dusty lavendar. 😳😳 scares clients every time.
Would love to see you try out some Matrix blonde toners though. They have a huge range for blondes and I feel like they are very underated.

I’m just waiting for your own hair line! You have so much hair knowledge to do it ❤️
i've used this dye andddd i've used their flamingo pink (i dont remember the exact name but it was the fucsia / magenta one) andddd i really liked it. my newly bleached hair parts grabbed onto the color way more than the damaged parts, but overall had a nice fading process. also, as you've seen they have a really high "coverage". in general i loved that shade, i wish i had it for a longer period of time
Blooming orchid is the one I think you’re talking about. I’ve used a lot from them since we use it at the salon I work at.
That colours reminds me a lot of the old good dye young colours there was some shades where look way more different out of the tube and as it prossesed it turns into the colour it was supposed to be.
I would love to see you do the curly hair method to see what your waves look like! 🥰🥰

I did their royal purple all over one time and it was GORGEOUS
Que genial ver este video, me habia asustado ya que compré el color disco plateado y se veia azul 😂 me dejaste mas tranquila, se ve hermoso el gris!!! I love it
Girl I love your channel 😭😭 I got inspired by you and dyed my hair after a year!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 You're amazing!!
I tried two different purple tones on a client and it looked very stranger out of the tube, I think it’s their formula. The colour turned out well though!
They have a gorgeous neons collection my mother in law gets me, the neon blue is my favorite
You should do a - trying a wavy hair routine video!! I would love to see how your hair looks with its natural texture
Aislinn! Could you please try the new Colour Pop colored conditioners / see how easily they remove from hair?
holeeeeee shiiiiit, did not expect that result! Amazing! :)
I used to use this line with there demi line and i liked them!! :)
Impatiently waiting for you to upload the video of your bleaching all of your hair again🙃🥰
Love the mint color looks so pretty in you're hair
That’s what we used in cosmetology school and I loved the yellow and the purple but it don’t last long
I pretty much use matrix everything lol 😂 I love them! When I was in hairdressing school, they used matrix so maybe it’s just familiarity lol.
Please try colourpops new hair tints! 🙏🏻 rhey usually only do makeup and just came out with this hair product!
Love how this turned out. I Love Matrix products so much!
I really wish we could've seen this on freshly lightened hair without the tint to start but this was a wild ride
I haven't tried theses yet....but Aislinn, I love the minty green! I think it looks soo pretty..The silver looks nice in your hair as well, but I'm really liking that green...(it did look kind of bad coming out of the tube though..lol)
I use the Royal purple on my Mother in laws hair and it lasts months!
cobalt pigment is more of an ultramarine/indigo blue that tends purple as opposed to like a cyan color (which sits closer to green) so it diffuses the natural brass color in hair a little more than like a neon blue would which is how you would get a cool silver instead of green :D

They're supposed to be semi permanent.
@@dbalas7 That's not what they're asking! 🥰 Some semi permanent shades are advertised to be full coverage and vibrant, while others are intended to be used to give light tints to the hair.

I’ve really enjoyed your hair growth journey, gotta say I’ll miss it!

The deep silver & mint are giving off Aug-tober vibes & I'm totally here for that! Beautiful💚🖤
This was so spooky I was yelling at the screen, AISLINN NO
I'm mind blown with these results 😳
Hey I’m a professional and there are a lot more to the line but some of them are very much trust the process like the stonewashed denim is green in the tube and purple when it processes!! Also love the combo!♥️♥️❤️❤️
you should try black shampoo i’ve seen a lot of people getting really silver gray hair with just black shampoo
Those colors look so pretty on you. 💙
I got the Sweet Mint and saw the color out of the tube and decided not to put it on my hair. This video was so interesting to see how it actually turns out! ☺️
Need the new Colourpop colors tested.
I may need to grab two colors from this line
I'm currently bleaching my regrowth and doing a bleach bath to get the purple out of my hair. I start my new job at walgreens tomorrow as a beauty consultant. Wish me luck 🙏 😅
I love you !!!!! Can you review punky color ?
Honestly I'm really excited to see you bleach your roots not because I want all your hair to be blonde but because I want to see how you bleach your hair it being so grown out, And how you're able to keep it even which I know is very hard.

i got the magenta last time i went in and it stayed and lifted wonderfully:)
As a stylist whose go to is Matrix, I do not use their fantasy colors😅 always turns out different than what I planned 😅
was not expecting this!! turned out so good! I was scared to try it out cause of the price point but now I'm definitely going to try it out in the future! would love to see you try more of their bright and vivid colors in the future! also I'm obsessed with their packaging it so freaking cute!
I would love for you to try guy tangs myrefresh color line with extensions if not your own hair. (rose gold)
I used the purple one I think… I liked it.
Poor Jack "what have I done"
I'm assuming the warnings are on there as they are required on all colours sold in the EU.
why do I love your videos so much?! 😩 you are just too cool!!! 💚✨🌹
i tried this dye last year while i was at work,
i decided with my coworker to try the mint shade on my white moneypiece and we were shook
in the tube it looks terrible but the outcome was amazing ❤️
What beautiful colours. I wish I could pull of light colours like that. ❤️❤️❤️. Did I miss a giveaway or have you just not talked about it on yt yet.
Your videos are so relaxing and helpful and I love them
Girl I got a titanium ion color conditioner from Sally’s and girl it was straight blue
We use this color in our salon and none of the colors look like they look on the box
I have been excited for the root touch up. I haven't tried anything but xmondo but my hair isn't blonde anymore so it is black again :(
I think i saw Caitlyn ford use a darker gray from this brand once, it came out brught purple but even when she swatched it on white paper it was gray on the paper but purple on the brush sooooo weird hahaha
girl you need to actually trust the process and start leaving the dyes on for the recommended time. i need to see them at full vibrancy because these colors are gorgeous 😍😍
Heyy do you ever miss your bottom middle lip piercing
You should try Wave Tech!!
... every other time I wash my hair I find myself dying my hair now... (although I just settled on purple/lavender I think) and I think watching your videos (which then inspired lots of other videos) has normalized that for me.
I started by bleaching my son's hair, then did mine... then... it snowballed.
I've been trying to find a silver I actually like. I'm trying this one next!
YES i wanna see you rock the waves but maybe in a different color tho 🙈 not feeling the matrix colors much and no scent? they just seem plain to me
its a little difficult to see the color with your back light, would it be possible to turn that off for your reveals?
I’m a professional hair stylist who uses solely Matrix color…the sweet mint will only show up that pale sweet mint color, if applied to very light blonde hair, pre lightened. The silver color is highly pigmented with blue to cancel out all yellow tones to give you that very silvery color you want! All fashion colors, and cult colors are meant to be applied to VERY BLONDE PRE LIGHTENED HAIR. 💓
Huhh?! Did not expect this!
Sis you should try the denim blue in the cult colors. It straight up come out of the tube looking like baby poop
Do not use the blue unless you want it to stay forever!
This is one of the best brands, it fades beautifully
My niece has used socolor cult navy bleu but not the semi one. She used the direct one, her hair stylist gave it to her and said to just aply it on clean hair and it came out really pastel and not what she wanted... Can you try the direct one for me please? Love you video's by the way❤️❤️❤️
The semi works well but in my experience it stays in your hair forever!
The reason the colors are muddy looking is because they have pearl (purple blue mix) to neutralize the left over yellow/blorange post bleaching virgin hair. Most mint and silver colors end up looking muddy or non existent on the hair because they don’t do that.
I thought Matrix discontinued their SoCult colors? Maybe they're selling it at Sally to get rid of it???
Does it have henna in it? Ive noticed alot of colors that have henna have those warnings. Could explain the color of the dye lol
I would love to have that olive drab hair. I don’t know how to get it.
PLEASE TRY COLOURPOPS NEW HAIR TINT
What a trip! I definitely didn't expect that outcome but I really like both of the colors and they do go together very well 😉
I want her to go another year, but she’d definitely hate it because the grow out would be weird plus there would be more natural than blonde hair
I need to refresh my green before I bleach again.
🥰🎨🎶
These are the colours my hairdresser uses, I just had the teal put on my hair and that comes out of the tube yellow! It was really weird
This Matrix line is definitely weird I’ve tried dusty lavender and it’s a poop green color coming out of the tube and it develops on the hair but I’ve also removed dusty lavender from my hair and it strips to a mint color and it’s pretty harsh to remove that’s mint color out.
My salon uses this color and I absolutely hate it 🫠
Aka 💙
I’ve always been scared to use the Socolor Cult because I always thought their colors were expired when I looked at them.
I love your videos 🤩
Ayeee early gang!!! 💯💯⚡️⚡️⚡️ what’s goood widit
I swear, I don't see any difference, I went bk and compared to beginning.... I don't see it man.
basically a hair color plot twist
Hiiii omg I’m early for once!
Wow, this color is so dull!! And $20 for a tube at Sally’s. Pass! The color is nice but it just looks dull to me. Maybe it’s just me?
i agree extremely dull this doesn't look like freshly dyed hair
it's like purple shampoo being super dark
I don't get why you expect the dye to look exactly like the color it will deposit. Yeah, a lot of them do, but a lot of them don't, especially the professional natural colors. Clothing dyes also usually don't look anything like the color that the clothes come out. Chemistry is weird.
Girl You need better lighting! I still love you though!
