I play. classic, and hard rock, metal, bit industrial is the hardest music Ill do. Unfortionatlly I had surgeries and got hard core addicted to opiates. Did 2 year's in prison, so I lost all my gear, sold, stolen, abused and lost I had so much shit. Gear for different's types of music. I feel the loss of my extreme powered gear, fuzz pedal's, 2 synth keyboard's, rare high power tube amp's, all my metal and industrial gear is gone. Mostly analog. But I had an old boss hyper fuzz that I used with a marshall valvetronix I realy miss and a real 1962 old school amp w tube rectifier's. A tube rectifier is a dark secret to insane uncontrolable distorion. W that amp and a boss turbo overdive I could copy weird fuzz like the classic spirit in the sky norman greenbaum stuff."" Dont judge just listen. And also old recording's suck, When your in the room w that sound or inaggaddadevida iron butterfly or anything that uses tube rectifier at insane voltage, that's the true sounds of true insane out of control distortion/fuzz/overdrive. But the russian big muff was the best. And though I dont care for the smashing pumkins, Cherub rock"" and some of their other work will show you that sound. If a tube amo has a solids state rectifer, as most newer tube amp's do!!!, THATS NOT a real tube amp. A tube rectifier is the only thing that matters Like mesa boogie has 2 or 3 in some amp's. For dam good reason.
No, he was coked up. He didn't do heroin until he overdosed in London on the Fragility tour, or so he says. He bought some china white heroin that was sold to him as coke and that was that. But yeah, he did recluse after that.
Yeah, I mean it is definitely a good thing for trent that he kicked his habits and sorted out some of his shit...but it's a shame that's not in the music anymore. I think those issues were a big part of his inspiration and now they are, to a large extent as far as i know, resolved, that inspiration is gone. Still an amazing producer but I can't say I'm in love with With Teeth.
