I asked my mom to get me one of these for Christmas after reading reviews. I've been using it a few days now to keep my head as close to razor shaved as possible without actually having to use a razor and man it's been awesome. I find myself just sitting at my desk watching youtube and running it over my head. Before I know it my head is close enough to good (compared to a razor) and I'm good to go! I actually really love this thing. The more time you spend with it on your head in your freetime, the less time you gotta fuck about with having to use creams and water. I've experienced zero irritation (naturally italian so oily skin by nature). I drive a semi truck over the road and haven't had a chance to use it while on the road, but I'm 1000% sure I'm gonna be keeping this next to my seat to use while i'm driving. I can't see how it'd be anymore distracting than listening to a podcast or talking on the phone, tbh. Overall, very happy with this product.

I agree with you! If everyone is going to be honest about this product or any electric razor, they will admit nothing shaves as close as a razor. I argued with customer service that the marketing of the product saying it's a as close as a razor was BS! Like you, I tried it for a over a month and it never lived up to the hype. Customer service tried to say it was my hair. My hair has always been super fine and with thin follicles so that's certainly not the problem. What they fail to admit is the blade can never get as close to your skin as a razor because of the guard. As for the other benefits; those that you pointed out are great. There is on benefit that you failed to mention; you can use the trimmer with one of the guards to trim your eyebrows which like your nose hair start getting out of control as you age. Plus the pop up trimmer is good for the hair growing out of your ears. You look younger, so that's probably not an issue for you yet. :-)

I was looking to get an electric razón for the closeness and convenience but, it seems by this review that I may just stay with the half time or regular razors. Thank you very much for saving me time and money
My husband shaved his hair off with this and now all the hair stuck in the blades and won't come out. Is this the hair on top of your head or just to shave your beard
I currently use this and it does shave pretty good. However, I still get better results with a traditional razor. However, the Freedom is good for travel when you don't want to bring razors with you.
Haha. Found this video after literally just using it 10 minutes ago. Definitely not as close as a razor but I’ll give it some. Visually, I think it looks close to “razor” level but when I pass my hand on my head I can feel the difference. Again, this was only shave #1.

Edit: I’m not sure how much my wife spent on this piece of Gold, but I give it a 9 out of 10 on Dry Shave…. I’m not going to risk using in the Shower. Get it Boys! I would have given a 10 out of 10 but a 4 Blade Real Razor gets it smoother

Bought the freedom gromner, anit used a blade since. This product gets really close and unlike a blade I can shave my head every day. Overall love it

I have used it in my head in the past. The type of shaving cream matters a lot.
I still think a good ole razor works the best - but use this when I need a quick clean up.

No you need a Braun series 9 if you don't want to use a trimmer first

Sorry. Not worth it. Its not a smooth shave and you better use it everyday…if not it takes too long and doesnt getvaround the ears good.
It is when you are trying to do a quick clean up in the car, but otherwise I agree with you.

To be honest George. I use this in a pinch - but much prefer a razor. It is closer and smoother.
