My 99 malibu threw this code at me. My car has been running really rough and lurches really bad when I’m at a complete stop, like at a red light. Will replacing this fix that issue? Also, it takes a minute to start, before it’ll actually turnover. Any advice would be awesome
Asking for a little help, i have a 2003 and i changed the plugs and wires, and also the TPS Sensor, randomly its stalling out at highway speed and reving high at idle will the EGR fix this anybody? Any thing else i should consider?
I had my car plugged in I have a 2003 Malibu and it says the valve is the EG something is clogged and needs to be cleaned I have awful time going up hills it chucks up the hill and a lot of people say it was a Cadillac converter but it's not showing that on the when they plug it in cuz my engine light came on would that do that
Just replaced the crankshaft position sensor...rpm gauge not moving... And car cutting off when I stop and when in idle... Just replaced plugs and ignition coils also...07 Chevy Malibu...????
Should of show what it was doing before. Like was the engine stalling or what. Mine will only barely get to 40 with my peddle to the floor was think the catalytic converter but its throwing the EGR valve code. Any ideas?

Change your transmission fluid, filter and EGR also put transmission fix in it!

Only getting code for crankshaft sensor... No other codes.... But yet it's cutting off but thanks for the reply

Robert DIY yes P0404. But idles perfect. But I push the peddle to the floor and going up a hill from a dead stop and barely get to 20mph
