I've grown to liking Palia, I follow you on twitch. I've gotten into cozy gaming this year, and Palia, Sims, and Stardew are my favorite cozy games to play.
Water the trees that you plant. That will make them grow into larger trees. I have dubbed The Whispering Banks as my "kill loop" LOL. I just keep going around the trail in a loop (it follows the banks of the river) shooting the deer-things, grabbing anything forgeable, and mining any copper I see. I go around it clockwise. Coming up from the ocean, headed in the direction of the dragon shrine, there are 3 fields on your left that have a lot of deer in them most of the time (plus the ones along the path). The first is right after you cross the bridge and make your turn upwards (north?). The next one is the field of ruins next to Einar's cave. The final one is at the top of the hill, next to the bridge that loops you back down the other side. 100 standard arrows will net you a lot of meat to eat and a few thousand in other goods, depending on how much you want to sell. When you run out of arrows or fill up your bag, go home and cook your meat and garden, then head back out. I've done that a couple of nights and have netted about 20,000 gold, and I'm still a fairly new player.
been on this game for about 30 hours now and i didn't know you could go to stables to teleport till i saw this video i was just running all over the place .. also if you see the huge frog south of the farm area make sure to climb on its back and get the treasure its a little frog plushie lol
Thank you so much for this video. When I started Palia, I was so overwhelmed and stayed away from it for a while. I decided to try it out again and this video definitely gets me more confident about it. Thank you!
Thank you for this great beginner video. I am in the final lava room part of the quest with Sifuu and Hassian and can’t leave till I get through it, otherwise I’d be trying out some of what you said. I’ve only been playing for 5 days or so. It took me a long time to figure out where Bahari even is, and now you gave a short cut! Yay! And I heard of teleporting but had no idea what or how it is done…. Wish me luck above the lava, I’m TERRIBLE at this kind of thing! But I love that in Palia you don’t have to go back to spawn point when you die:)
This is a great guide. As a player with hundreds of hours in the game, may I add a few things? Prioritize upgrading your focus bonus before spending a lot of renown on your focus bar. Carry a bunch of repair kits with you. I usually craft a few hundred at once and put them in my inventory so I can stay out and grind more before restocking on repair kits. You can repair tools in bahari at the anvil at Bahari Central Stables but only with repair kits. If you're planning on being on the cliff behind hodari's house or around the pavel mines entrance between 3-6am and you have a smoke candle, use it. That's a spawning ground for epic bugs that a lot of people will be trying to catch and if you scare them off, they'll have to wait a whole in game day before they can try again. Lastly, there are a bunch of people willing to donate things. Don't be afraid to request something even if you feel like it's asking for a lot. People donate regularly because it's a reliable, albeit slow, way to get renown.
some notes about outdated info: you don't get a zeki coin everyday when buying from his shop. also as long as i've played renown has not been capped at 1000. I currently have about 2300 renown and climbing
Great guide but i need to know how to eat the food i cook . Only been playing for 3 days and tried different keys and buttons on my Xbox controller and not luck .

This is exactly what I’ve been needing to take another crack at Palia. The game can be kind of intimidating tbh but this is a huge help!
I'm so glad! I definitely understand being intimidated, I've been there!
