Oh, Disney already pulled shit to keep Mickey Mouse under their name. Notice how most Disney properties now begin with an old timey Mickey animation over cheerie music? That's their strategy. It may be public domain, but under different but somewhat related laws, people will still have a hard time being allowed to use it if Disney shows that they still are using it.

Just gonna say it now but I did grow up playing My Disney Kitchen and I did like it. I believe I still would to this day. It's a fun little sanbox game you mostly use your imagination for. Yes, it's simplistic but it was fun pretending to cook for my family when I was young. Plus it came with real recipes my mom uses to this day and short Disney clips of shows with comical and fitting music to watch, which was a treat. I understand why you don't like it, but it was all in good, imaginative fun.

I admit I don't remember a single thing about Atlantis, Emperor's New Groove or Dinosaur, like it's been FOREVER since I last watched those movies......in fact I do remember my grandmother had the VHS tapes, but I barely watched them, the ones I watched the most was Toy Story, Mulan, Aladdin, Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, Hercules, Extreme Goofy Movie, Tarzan, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan.

I can't speak for everyone, obviously, but I've been playing games since I was able to walk, starting with the Atari 2600. Apparently, one of my uncles got one for super cheap at a flea market, plus a huge library of games. This was about four years into the NES's life cycle, for frame of reference, and while I don't have super vivid memories of it all, I was able to sort out a lot of those games, and was able to sort out that a lot of games weren't all that great. Nothing on the level of the Disney Kitchen game, but there were some questionable material.
