This is the best video that explains simply wtf I been trying to find. Everyone else just be showing off or over explaining stuff for 45 min w promoting plug ins.
BRUH, after all this time, i thought when dealing with scale helpers, we were suppose to be on the dark notes. thats funny as hell i been doing it wrong all these years and 1 video taught me the correct way. thanks bro i subbed
Just started to learn how to make beats. This is by far the most helpful video I've seen man you did such an amazing job explaining everything. Can't thank you enough bro!!
Sometimes I can get it off quick, some times I gotta take the time to get more in depth but I'm glad this was helpful and convenient. Thank you for watching 🙏🏾
Hey man new sub ! Thank you so much for giving out this knowledge allot of other "producers" claim to do walk-throughs but don't even take the time to explain the way you did I really appreciate it !keep doing yo thang broski
I got a couple vids on chords dropping soon, I had to do this as the foundation but be on the lookout for the first one this week. But thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching, glad you got some value from this
IDK when I'll get to that but The diminished chords tutorial and the secondary dominant vids are modulations so you may wanna check those out, they're on my music theory playlist
REally good explanation, I still feel like me and many others just are not understanding it. Music is kinda like advanced math some are good at it and some just dont get it.
I'm gonna follow this up with a chord progression basics video and I'll consider doing the note length one. But for now, check out my Money Man video and my "Most used chord progression in rap" video, I break down how to make melodies out of chords and also give free midis in the description
Flat = b. Flat is one semitone down. The way to remember that is to think “shit that’s flat lies down” so you know flat = down. Sharp is the opposite, sharp = #. Sharp is one semitone up. So to give you an example. Look at the D note and look at the E note. That black note in-between them is D sharp and E flat. There’s no difference other than which one you choose to call it. But for reference, FL studio only shows sharps (#) so that will be D sharp always in fl studio.
Man I think this the best I ever heard this explained. Great job
Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback, I appreciate you 🙏🏾

Gotta say
I agree, he made it real easy to follow ✌

Does the root note selection have any impact in the scale highlighting tool? Or is it just simply the starting point?
Helpful video bro. 🔥 But I got a question.
What is for example, E flat in the scale? I’ve been struggling to know the difference.
@@MelloDeeBeats let say, one sample is played in Ebm, which scale is that?
@@yung_rez8756 e flat minor. So you calculate the minor scale from E flat. m is minor. The lowercase b is the symbol for flat.
great video keep it upp bro! 🔥🙏
fasho, thank you for watching
