I wish I had found out about this a few years ago. Exact same problem. I gave the piece away to a family member. Love your content. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge

Great idea! I’m finishing my daughter’s childhood dresser from great grandparents🤭 Worked like a lunatic on the top but can’t take anymore sanding on the veneer😬
    Used Afterwash😷😵‍💫
Still little bits of white. I’m definitely buying Kleen Strip💃

Best of luck with your daughters dresser. I hope you have great success using the Kleen Strip. Works like a charm for me every time I use it.

Thanks again Bethany, you're amazing! I have always loved overalls, and you make me love them even more :) Possible new dog names... Jam, Jelly, Jellyroll, Marmalade, Muffin, Banger or Link (sausages), Pancake, Waffle, Donut ... At least Banger starts with a 'B' ... Biscuit, Bacon, and Banger

Great Video, I have a question how do you remove paint from a coffee table that has lots of wood detail and small holes detail to get into ? Thank you

Glad you liked the video! I have these types of brushes that I'll use to get into tight spots like small holes. I spray them with the stripper first and then try to remove the paint. Here's a link: amzn.to/421USip

How are you going to stain the veneer?

    • @madelinejeanantiquesrestor9074

On these particular drawers I plan on using a gel stain by General Finishes. The customer wants a darker look. I apply it with a 2” foam brush and then wipe off the excess.

For what it’s worth, this stuff also strips dried bondo off metal spreaders like it’s nothing.
