I got pulled over for bad inspection. I'm a father of 2. Work full time I need 4 new truck tires and a weld on my exhaust. Truck tirees cost alot. I am paying rent plus all the bills. Plus food and stuff for my kids. I can't afford tires... My truck is not fallinh apart it looks and drives fine. I made a payment plan I couldn't afford to pay 2 payments because a single father with rent and bills is hard enough. So now they suspended my driver license... Now I had no way to go back and forth to work. That's the only time I drove anyways.. I had no choice loose my job my house. Or still drive on suspended DL. Well I got pulled over for 1 plate light out.. Still had another one.. Not I'm looking my DL even longer my work is not on a bus route. I have been working their 9 years now I have to quit my job loose my nice house I will be homeless loose my kids because they don't have a roof over their heads.. All because of a inspection sticker! Think about that.. Its impossible for a single adult to live with one income and add kids on to it.. Plus the cost of driving is bullshit. I'm not on drugs I'm a good person. Now I'm looking every thing over A STICKER!
I believe your story. And I'm so sorry that happened . I feel you. I'm going through a similar situation now. It's so hard to get back on your feet when authorities take away your driving privileges over petty bullshit... How are we supposed to get money to pay all of Their fines if we can't get back and forth to work?
I'm in the same boat as you brother and it is very very hard.....Just got a second ticket in a week for stupid bullshit....I can't afford them, I can barely afford groceries and now gotta worry and deal with this bullshit because the state police recently lost their big old fund from penndot when during a recent audit, it was found that penndot gave the state police over 4.8 billion dollars out of the fund that was supposed to go to fixing these god awful roads around here......I'm so tired of the bullshit I give up already
I can understand for safety of cars and trucks. Why the hell do we need the states to tell us to fix our cars? We as car owners should know when it needs fixed not the state. It’s like we need a babysitter to make sure we stay on top of our vechicles. Me for one know what needs fixed or if I feel something isn’t right to get it fixed.
Thank God I moved out of PA to a state where this isn't required. Yes I keep my car up to date on maintenance but the inspection program immisoins is a rip off and nothing but a revenue generator
Because it so much better to move where this piece of shit is completely legal and you're breathing in these disgusting, burn your lungs exhaust fumes, then it is to live in PA where this is illegal? Seems legit. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I was shocked to find out there are states that don’t require this! Only bc people will take advantage and not keep their car up to date and drive around with black smoke blowing everywhere 🤦🏼♀️
@@HeyItsKayJayBae Unfortunately this is true in some instances. I do all my own work on my cars. When I Iived in PA I had to take it to a shop for them to do the inspection. I use to play dumb and pretend I didn't know anything about cars to test the shop doing the inspection on it. A few times I've had a mechanic tell me I had no brake pads when I just replaced the breaks myself. Immagine what they do to customers who are not car knowledgeable. It's a racket. There are no audits or oversight on the shops doing these inspections. I'm not saying all shops are shady but there are the bad apples out there.
so the car is junk in PA and not junk in NJ just because state law says the car wont pass inpection in other states like South Carolina you dont need a inspection period

real shit. Penndot and police expect us to have up to date stickers, like people can afford inspection/emission during a national pandemic. Pennsylvania is ass especially pittsburgh and south western pa
LOL, those aren't too bad, but they're definitely fakes. I bought some just like those in Philly. Before that, I drove around for two years on "stickers" I made from soda cans. You can get any color soda cans, and most cops in big cities don't bother to look, as long as they're metallic and the right colors. Mine obviously looked like crap, but they worked. Before the cans, I used a clear photograph of stickers that I printed on aluminum foil. Got caught with those, $300 fine, but I just couldn't get through that emissions computer check, even though the car ran smoothly and wasn't creating excessive pollution. That was before the emissions repair exemption was lowered to $250. Now you just put $250 in emissions repairs, and if it still doesn't pass, you can get an exempt sticker.
You're no car expert. You just hook them up. Besides the rusted panel, what do you know of the cars capabilities? Your belief that older cars shouldn't be on the road is enough, I guess
Your grandiose sense of self importance doesn't translate to others as much as you seem like you want it to. just because the government thinks it's not safe has absolutely no bearing on this subject if it's road worthy or not. Rust cracks and straight pipes will fail your car. And none of them have to do with safty for the most part
These stickers won’t prevent nothing from happening to you while driving on the road. These stickers are only ment to get more $$ folks. Nothing more.
