On the same day Weird Al blesses us with a new Polkamix, RLM blesses us with a WotW, and Noislund truly blesses us with a banging new Columbo remix! 👌 The dark clouds part and the heavens shine down upon us. We are not worthy of these gifts ❤
Sometimes when I think there is nothing great on this planet anymore, I remember that there is a channel that makes the catchiest tracks of all time out of my most favourite things (Columbo, Star Trek, Redlettermedia) and I feel much better.
The way you find patterns/melodies in non-musical, beloved media - and turn them into a nostalgia-fest - I get the same vibes from Pogo. Love your stuff dude.
Idk why but the wave Columbo makes is bitter sweet. I just finished my marathon of the series w few months ago. It felt so sad saying bye to the character. So this was fantastic
A freind of mine said 15 years ago "La felicidad es un estado de ánimo pasajero" which translates to something like "Happines is a transient mood". Right now I'm happy. Thank you.
Someday id like to see if Jim Rockford has a banger or two in him (oh lord, does he...) Could even do a kickass break mid song to let the answering machine get a call... hehe
Another winner! I loved the touch of the two pots of orchids next to the TV as well as the seamless editing of "please take your african violet and get out of here" followed by "I'll show you the quickest way down"
columbo my beloved ❤ I've watched your columbo videos so many times that they've become comfort background noise to me at this point. I got another one to add to the collection now, thanks! also really dig the "recording the tv screen with a camera" aesthetic
Aw thank you kindly for saying so, happy to hear that you like them. Thanks, it's just a way to try and add a little bit more originality to the video, other then just ripping the original content off 😅 FYI I got a Robert Culp one ready to go soon as well, but that one will be a little funkier :)
Yes! More Columbo! And your best one yet! We tried to do something fun with exact same clip, had to give up due to constant copyright issues. Hope they let yours stay up, it’s great!
i watched columbo for the first time a couple months ago, and this scene instantly made me pause and search for any explanation about what the heck happened on set that day hahaha. perfect choice lundman
Before ill-informed fans come in spouting myths: This scene was not an accident. The fall is present verbatim in the screenplay. Furthermore, Columbo was a single-camera show and you can clearly see that the scene was shot from multiple angles which would be quite impossible were it not carefully planned out beforehand. The reason it looks so good and convincing is because it was executed by a group of seasoned veterans and Peter Falk is an excellent actor. More information on the shooting of the scene can be found in David Keonig's excellent book "Shooting Columbo".
Technical question: How did you create the animation of the vintage room with the television and plants? AI? Is there a tutorial to get started making animations like this?
Hey! No AI, not a fan of that. These are just 3D models which I rendered in Blender. Sure there are tons of Blender tutorials on RUclips. BlenderGuru for example is a great one!
I was watching a retrospective on www.youtube.com/@WatchitforDays of this episode and I love this scene so much! You, once again, have made my day :)❤😻
That "quickest way down" hook and the guitar part? My friend, this would be the stem a mastodon hit song if sung by a heartbroken rock band with members aged between 19 to 35. Hell same if Adele did it
forgive me if you've heard this fun fact before, but the stumble down the hill wasn't scripted: Peter Falk really did misjudge how steep the hill was, and they kept it in because it's in-character
This is a myth and absolutely untrue. The scene as it plays out in the final episode is present verbatim in the screenplay. Furthermore, Columbo was a single-camera show and you can clearly see that the scene was shot from multiple angles which would be quite impossible were it not carefully planned out beforehand.
Hey man, love your videos. If you think it's something you could work with, i think it'd be hilarious if you made a song from the new Wheel of the Worst where Jay and Mike keep telling Jack that people just died and Jack says "he was one of my closest friends". That whole bit had me dying
Nah, I've seen quicker. I was about to leave college for the day, and I saw this old man talking to some people above him while he was taking the stairs down. That combination was not great. He found the quickest way down. From the top of the stairs all the way down... head first. When he got up, his bump looked like a head growing out of another head. Anyways, awesome song🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was born in the mid 90s in Hungary and Columbo was a huge part of my childhood. And I still keep rewatching so many of the episodes from time to time.
Yep, he was big in Eastern Europe too. Him, The Murder She wrote, Poirot, and for some reason Alf, were all aired roughly at the same time period. And all those shows were hugely popular.
Noiselund *and* RLM on a Friday? We're not worthy.
😂
i love that the top comment on this video lets me know that there is new rlm
48!
Noiselund, RLM, and a new Weird Al polka. Truly a blessed Friday.
I came to say this. Some mighty fine viewing this evening.
Columbo is so accommodating, he not only complied with the man's request to get out, he did so via the quickest way down.
He is very efficient!
I'd never watched an episode of Columbo in my life until I saw these videos and decided to check it out. Now I kinda love it.
It’s so good
Same. I've watched them all since finding Noiselund (from the TNG "Life forms" video). Such a fantastic series.
I just watched this episode of columbo last night!
It's weird when these things happen!
It’s kismet!
I just caught it in the last week too, good episode.
Colombo is the man, appreciate you sharing his musical talents with us!
Yes he is! And no worries, I'm sure the good lieutenant would appreciate your kind words!
On the same day Weird Al blesses us with a new Polkamix, RLM blesses us with a WotW, and Noislund truly blesses us with a banging new Columbo remix! 👌

What a day to be alive!
This is Columbo's most upbeat breakup song. It goes through all the stages and leaves you ready for the next one.
Sometimes when I think there is nothing great on this planet anymore, I remember that there is a channel that makes the catchiest tracks of all time out of my most favourite things (Columbo, Star Trek, Redlettermedia) and I feel much better.
You aren't alone.
Wishing you my best my fellow brother
There are DOZENS of us! DOZENS!
Sweet, more Columbocore.
The way you find patterns/melodies in non-musical, beloved media - and turn them into a nostalgia-fest - I get the same vibes from Pogo. Love your stuff dude.
Oh wow I take that as the highest compliment. Thank you so much my dude!
Columbo keeps a hold of his cigar the entire time he falls, impressive.
Idk why but the wave Columbo makes is bitter sweet. I just finished my marathon of the series w few months ago. It felt so sad saying bye to the character. So this was fantastic
Let the man order his chili
A freind of mine said 15 years ago "La felicidad es un estado de ánimo pasajero" which translates to something like "Happines is a transient mood".
Right now I'm happy. Thank you.
Thank *you* !
Dancing around my house to this like a silly little freak.
Many of us all here really like what you do, Noiselund.
walked through my house today doing chores, humming to myself "quickest way, quickest way doooooown". such is the power of the noiselund
I hear that Noselund does all his own stunts.
You heard right
This song has really grown on me.
Like an orchid.
Someday id like to see if Jim Rockford has a banger or two in him (oh lord, does he...)
Could even do a kickass break mid song to let the answering machine get a call... hehe
We started watching Columbo because of you. Thank you.
Another winner! I loved the touch of the two pots of orchids next to the TV as well as the seamless editing of "please take your african violet and get out of here" followed by "I'll show you the quickest way down"
Oh heck yeah, more Noiselund ColumboCore!!
Peter Falk is smiling in the multiverses that have heavens. In the ones where he’s a ghost, he’s haunting Zak Bagans.
I didn't realize how much I needed this in my life

Calling it now, this will be the song of the summer.
I've been growing flowers, plus tomatoes and peppers and herbs this summer. The latter bunch, for making chili...
Yes! More Columbo! And your best one yet! We tried to do something fun with exact same clip, had to give up due to constant copyright issues. Hope they let yours stay up, it’s great!
I have never clocked on something faster. New Columbo songs bring me life.
Daddy's clock?
Tisnt.
I hope Columbo is okay, he looked Falked up
Still my favourite detective. Thank you Noiselund.
What an evening to make chili while listening to Noiselund and watch a new RLM video while eating it!
Columbo is the coolest and this song is just as cool!
i watched columbo for the first time a couple months ago, and this scene instantly made me pause and search for any explanation about what the heck happened on set that day hahaha. perfect choice lundman
Glad to see fresh Columbo material
Never consumed any Columbo media till last night and here you are with my second helping.
Banger hit
I want a bite of that chili sooooo damn bad
The return of the King to this channel.
Okay this was incredible 🙌
Praise be, the good times are back on
I love Colombo and I love RLM.
Magnificent :)
Red Letter Media recently uploaded a new video. I wonder which part of it Noiselund will make music video out of it?
Haha I dunno, haven't watched it yet. I'll let you know soon enough
@@noiselund oh buddy, it's perfect for you
Man I love Colombo xD
Same! 😊
MILC
Yeahhh, Columbo is back!!!
YES, i've been waiting for more Columbo remixes! 💖
Thank you, happy to hear that! ❤ Got atleast one more ready to go soon :)
Conan, Red Letter Media, and now Columbo!!
Get out of my head!!!
"Now"
detective colombo suddenly turned into detective cosmo kramer.
Another beautiful track, great stuff as always!
This popped up just at the moment I needed it the most.
Oh man, now I'm in the mood for chili.
[edit: and now that I've got my chili, I'm in the mood for watching some Columbo!]

THE Kevin Day supports you?? thats awesome lol, i love That Happened
Gotta say, I love your music, it's awesome even outside the memes associated.
That's very kind of you to say, thank you very much!
Yes! New columbo song 😊
Story of my fuckin life
Great ❤
Thank you kindly! ❤
Love you Noiselund! Never stop never stopping!!!
As much as I love all the RLM videos you’ve made I think this is my favorite so far! Thank you for all the joy!!!
Masterful! Thanks for the Friday tune, dude 🎉
The most diabolical thing is that these videos nearly make me want to watch Columbo. Another banger!
Do it. I recently got done watching all of them. They are a great watch.
Right? Why did this rascal of a man run down the hill?? Why did he stay on his ass so long?? I must know
Wow that was quick!
Very good.
Colombo is back.
Love your work.
Thank you

Oh Heck, it's the djunglehouse episode 😂
Indeed! 😂 Got a really funky Culp one coming up next tho
If i might be so cheeky, might i recommend the "Publish or Perish" episode? Jack Cassidy is just killing it😏 in this one
new noiselund banger lets fuckin GO!

Lol thank you! I think Columbo has more range than Adele though to be honest.
I like the part where the one guy shows Columbia the quickest way down

The dulcet tones of Peter Falk was meant for dance music.
Jay Leno must have took direction from this episode a couple months ago in Pittsburgh.
You gotta make a song about the number 48.... no reason
And it was good!
Was that actually him doing the stunt? My body'd be wrecked for a week after that.
It was him. My mom and I used to watch this episode and thought it was the funniest thing ever.😆
2:14 is that Jack Magee? Shouldn't he be looking for a large, green man from planet Earth?
What episode(s) is this taken from?
season 2 episode 2 "the greenhouse jungle"
@@MattLascola This! Thank you
