Thank you for sharing. I like the fact that you keep it real. Being there is the main point. A good shot is frosting on the cake.

Spectacular footage Josh! You’re wise to put your safety first. I have seen these guys angry before and you don’t want to be in their path! 😳

I really appreciate that you show the nitty gritty parts of wildlife photography. So many times you only see youtubers post with the best of the best and show themselves seeing animals every single time. But that just isn't the truth with this type of photography most of the time. Thank you for doing what you do

Shhhhh. Keep Wind Cave NP a secret! Love it for its peacefulness, its solitude. Was there a couple years ago for 2 days... never saw another human the entire time. Your videos are so colorful and sharp. Would love to see a tutorial from you on how you shoot your video. Thanks for sharing!

haha don't worry, no one will watch this 😂 But I really loved the park! Super quiet, really tucked away! I will for SURE be going back! And thank you so much! I have been considering doing a "membership" where I go over educational stuff like settings, equipment, techniques, etc. Ill let you know if I end up doing it!

Josh , another exceptional video with STUNNING photography and soundtrack. The footage of the Bison were unbelievable along with the landscapes . Your keen respect for the animals while being smart about your own safety is clear and I couldn’t believe how close they were ! Loved every moment of another beautiful video and oh those owls , so fun to see .

Exceptional photography/videography! I apologize if you’ve answered this before, but what equipment did you use on this shoot? It looks like the Canon 400mm f/4 DO, but I couldn’t tell for sure. What camera body?
    Thanks…great work, man!

    • @FoxandFir

Thanks so much! I use a Canon R5, and a Canon 400mm 2.8 IS II L. Sometimes I use a 1.4 teleconverter, and sometimes I use a 2X. But most of the bison were with just straight 400mm. The owl and prairie dogs were a mix of the 1.4 and 2X!
