Just to let everyone know, I didn't put the ATV in the bucket for a VERY good reason. The SANY slides on many parts of the trail and if I had to use the bucket to hold the excavator from sliding, I would have destroyed the ATV, also I used the SANY to fix parts of the road so having the ATV in the bucket would really be a problem... Thanks everyone for your comments!
I was just thinking that he should have drug that old faded green truck box that is behind him at the top down to the pull out where he was saying it would be nice to have a shed. That's pretty much a pre made shed that is ready to set in place, and the Sany would make short work of it.
Worked industrial and commercial construction for 51 years. You are a very hard working individual. I was impressed with your construction skills. Your pride in your work stands for itself.
Allan seems like you Dave and Dave The whole crew are really good people setting a good example like your fixing the world by just being your selves so Bravo !!!!!!! God Bless you
I’m feeling there is RUclips gold here. Some clever editing and video labeling and we have some great shorts. ‘How to get an excavator out of a hole ‘ etc
Alan if you take those boulders from the pullout and lay a small rock wall near that sluff zone when the stuff sluffs it will back fill and make a nice back wall for a shed. That SANY sure is nice...
Alan, Love the videos ! I have a friendly suggestion: build a cage/ framework for the atv that would hook over the counterweight of the Sany. You could make it to where you could drive it on, using ramps that would flip/ fold up out of the way with a simple locking mechanism. That way, you could operate the Sany down to bottom of the mountain and then unload the atv and go back up to the top fortress. Just a friendly suggestion, that’s all. Looking forward to binging on the rest of your videos !
Well done sir, on your midpoint you were talking about putting a shed for tools what I was thinking about was putting a little wood stove and a little room with some little bit of food and a little bit of water in case in the winter if you get storm and you're coming up the hill and something breaks I don't know what the weather is like out there but when it's cold it'll suck it out of you quicker than anything just a thought you remind me of one of my family members that I lost a couple of years ago and he was about his wild and unconventional as you. It's almost nice to see a glimpse of him through you. You have a good day. Thank you Bob from Virginia USA
It's a awesome miracle that you met Dave now we can see you on both the channels doing some exciting work And as always you are good at everything ✌🏻 Love from India ✌🏻✌🏻🔥
Once the gravel/dirt seam is emptied it will make an excellent cistern(water storage). Snow and rainfall could help fill it and any overflow could be dammed and use to water a nice big garden. A solar powered submersible water heater would keep it flowing in winter.

Wow. It looks like trying to move any earth on that kind of terrain is just violent as can be. I never realized how lucky I am to live in an area of thick soft dirt where the only real problems are the occasional giant roots
Al, you are very inspiring to be doing what you are. I have been binging on all your videos since l watched the initial discovery on HeavyDsparks. Be safe!
Yo allan my guy. You should start selling off some of those truck. It's obvious by their tires that they are just being left to waste away. And there are so so many that people could be saving..
You've got a really awesome compound Alan. Working out there by yourself always try to be careful we want to see you continue this project for a long time to come 👍☮️🇺🇲
Extremely inspiring watching you man I just started watching Dave a few weeks ago and when I saw the videos today of ur compound I was blown away! Hope to see more videos of this place it truly is amazing!
I gotta admit Alan. That was pretty impressive getting out of that hole. People don't realize how hard that is. I've seen allot people damage machines trying stuff like that.
You could’ve put your ATV in the bucket or hanging from the cable drive it back up save you some time but you won’t get your exercise thank you Allen for your great mountain top fortress would love to come help sometime
Good morning Alan nice to see you again. You had my jaw dropping when you turned that cab around and backed your way out of that hole, I have to admit I'd thought of that but I didn't think you'd actually do it. Silly me. As for having to walk 45 minutes from the bottom to the top wow, if you get the Sany back again or if you get stuck in that position again with your other excavator you might want to consider putting the ATV on the excavator bucket somehow or hanging it from the excavator bucket and just taking it with you as you go down or up so you have it with you... just a thought. Anyway I'm going to get back to watching you shovel your concrete and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
Park a truck down at ur lil pull out with a cap on the back so u can keep some half way point tool s and supply s or whatever u might need at the half way point ,

Me too, but as I watched him work and viewed the area around him below I realized how hard it must be and remembered exactly how old I am and I knew since I was tired just thinking about it I couldn't do it anymore at this age so watching is the best I can do

The one thought I had about this video is why not have lifting hooks on these quad bikes so you can just pick them up with the bucket and take them with you. Another bonus is loading and unloading off the trailers. No room for a bile, just lift it up and put it on top of something else. Something for you to think about as well Dave. A recovery shipping crate full of recovery tools with a small workshop to do repairs out in the field. It couild have a generator, compressor, toilet/shower, fridge, microwave. So on recovery day you just load the container on a truck with the other toys and your on the road.
SANY is sure noisier than a rocket ship flying off into heaven. It does it's job well rather than having to use a spade and manpower LOL!!! Great job SANY it was great watching the Wizard hard at work on that noisy machine but it was interesting. Wizard you really need your wand so you don't forget to look after yourself e.g. water, water, everywhere but not a drop to drink LOL!!!
Oh hell! I was only watching on video but, when you started going through that gate at the top and we could see how close to the edge you seemed plus that very steep drop off and having to skid around that turn even wider because your gate stuck out as well, I was gritting my teeth half expecting to wind up starting to skid off the edge! You've either got a pair of grapefruit down there or are crazy, that had me terrified and I'm only watching on a pc later. Sorry your river gravel seemed to peter out. Could it be running in a different direction maybe? Ancient river beds might not follow the same path as the natural cleavage planes of the bedrock so maybe it's there, just not where you were looking this time.
Alan, you and your channel is pretty neat! I hope to keep watching your projects for a long time. Thanks for sharing. (Also hoping that by watching all of your ads etc, we can get some $ coming your way.)
Hello Alan watch your post great work. Your windows need to be stalnless steel or steel. Aluminum windows will corrode. Because the two metals are dissimilar, upvc or wooden framed windows wood do the trick you could use an epoxy inhibitor. I hope you read your comments Allan best regards!

Walking that Sany up backwards had me on the edge of my chair! But you made it! You are the Wiz!

I was going to say the same thing, Alan you should ALWAYS keep water in ALL of the vehicle's on the property, and in the excavator!
Al, you are very inspiring to be doing what you are. I have been binging on all your videos since l watched the initial discovery on HeavyDsparks. Be safe!
im about to start watching. after seeing on heavy sparks allans misfortunes i decided to check this channel out.
You should find a good spot and build a cement pond up there just for extra water, in case of a fire or equipment, or too even purifie to drink.
Can't wait for this channel to explode!!!
Alan, remember to give us a scan of that beautiful scenery.
Nice moves with the Excavator. I was scared as shit watching that and looks like your doing that shit alone. Your nuts bro!
