I have one of these, reshafted it with a steel fairway shaft. Distance has been solid , summertime play was looking at 230 carry. Only downside was dispersion was too wide for me, I just couldn't seem to stay consistent with it. Still have it , might put some work into it this winter.
I have not actually tried the 5 wood as only got my hands on the 3. I can imagine like most fairway woods, you will get the same performance across the line. So will still have decent distance, forgiveness and easy to launcher. Even easier to launch as a 5 wood so you have a nice loft. If you’ve liked the reviews of the 3 wood then you should like the 5 wood. If you go for it let me know how it goes.
Does the Dynapower sit more ‘open-faced’ at address? A club at a similar price point, the Cleveland Halo fairway wood, is a great club but when it’s behind the ball I ALWAYS think I’m going to smash it hard left!! Which of course means that I almost invariably do! Think the club, for me at least, needs to sit straight or open, for me to be able to fully commit to the shot. Much happier with a left to right ball flight than a draw tbh. Keep up the good work, the channel is growing, bit by bit 👍
Like gt said, this clubs sits square. Wilson actually went to their tour players regarding the looks of the woods and that’s why these woods look very much tour inspired. And tour look generally means neutral to open face as tour players don’t like closed faces either. You shouldn’t have a problem keeping this straight. When I tested it, it reacted like any other normal fairway wood so was not over drawing at all. 👍
@@Acsgolf thanks for that. Think I’ll take the plunge and try one out. As we get into the winter months the ball runs forever on my frosty links course so ideal time to try a 5 wood from the tee!!

Sounds like a plan, as that’s some solid figures. 👍
What’s the 5 wood like? Can’t find one review about it yet
