People race to have it first and pay a crazy premium for it, no doubt the first ones on the market will be crazy money but you are right they shouldn’t pay too much over retail. If anything it should be similar money to a Batman oyster.
I have a TT GMT ceramic, green GMT hand. It’s a very nice watch. This new GMT has the same dial and same green lettering but no gold and a half assed bezel. You can buy the old SS ceramic GMT for what, 11-12k? The look is identical from 2 feet away.
