Thanks for the review. But at a $799 price point, it seems pretty expensive for equipment that isn’t OEM. For that price, I would want 1 for 1 matching of the exact same specs/quality of the factory MacBook screen. Also, I could probably make due with just 1 extra screen. The 3rd is nice, but almost overkill…and for most people just an additional screen to play videos on while working…
Thanks! Well, in my opinion the price is reasonable for the quality, but I agree that most users don't need 3 monitors, but it's great that this option exists
Hi, I just received my 16-inch Monduo screen. I initially adjusted the color profile to Display P3 following your video, but Apple RGB seems to work better. When I mirror the built-in display, the left and right match the Mac screen. However, stopping mirroring after around half second the brightness and contrast of the Monduo screens fade slightly. Is that normal?
I'm still debatinIg between this and the Xebec Snap. Like this would be perfect for my MacBook Pro but as a contractor I often am given different laptops to work from and I don't think this would work with any of them except my personal MacBook.
pixel. This is not a US company. And if you trying to return it. It will cost you 150 plus and address they provide doesn’t work. fedax has trouble delivering it. I do not recommend this product
@@spacedreamer12 same; I hope someone would provide long-term feedback on this with their MBP16. Brilliant concept but a potential engineering disaster. I don't know if I want to take a risk, but I need this.
I'm having issues opening the monduo app. Followed the instructions from both the website and guide from in box and reached out to monduo about a week ago now. Still no answer for why the monduo app isnt opening like normal. I wanted to really utilize the feature of controlling the brightness in all 3 displays. Do you mind showing us how to setup the software and adjust the monitors in sync?
My Macbook is 12.5 M2 chip. I am having difficulty researching a reputable set of additional monitors for travel. If you can suggest something, I'd gladly look into it and use your link :) Thanks!
Curious, they are having a sale on the 16 inches. I have a Laptop Studio, which is a 14 inch screen. Should I just stick with 14 or would 16's look ridiculous?
@@NOlimitsON with the deal the 16's are cheaper than the 14's. but I guess aesthetically I should stick with 14's. Just curious when they come out, they are still preorder with no release date.
Does this have Windows support yet? It's past Q1 of 2023 so and there is no mentioned of it on their website. Also is there a separate control panel for each monitor in case there isn't an app? I'm going to wait for it to be on sale though as it's pricey at $800 and isn't on Amazon as well for easy returns just in case something is wrong with it. I already got a non plastic 17" 16:9 1440p 144Hz portable monitor with great color ratings and it only cost me $250. So in a way I rather just spend another $250 to get a similar setup minus the super clean factor. So $500 total or $800 for this device. Lastly I wish the bezels where thinner as well and that the body wasn't just all plastic.
@@NOlimitsON I asked because I ve tried to check their website bu there's nothing about it. Plus I don't know how expandable the slot or holder is. Could you do a video about it?
How do you like Monduo Dual Monitors? Could you find a use-case for 3 screens and which one would it be?

Treee are several competitors and all of them are much worse. Just t4i to find this size. No chance + brightness + refresh..
I am seriously considering this. What did you think of overall travel durability and weight in backpack, and also the kickstand strength?
Kickstand is fine, the weight is noticeable, but not crazy. If you are going to be careful - it’ll last for years 100%

You mentioned a possible mini LED version, any idea or news on that one?
As far as I know it’s not released yet

I didn't use the Xebec... so I can't really comment on it
Could you please provide us with instructions for how to adjust the color according to your calibration? Thank you so much!
It’s done automatically with the calibrator and it’s software. All displays are a bit different, so ideally you need to calibrate each one
@@NOlimitsON Oh ok, its the same Macbook Pro 16. Should be similar :-) Better than nothing. ;-)
8 months later still no mini led version.
Unfortunately
my mac 13 inch ;(

Didn’t know about that…
Nit everything is about the US💀 I live in the UK so it should be fine
That’s why you buy it in store
What about the added weight putting stress on the screen and hinges?
Dude I've watched all the videos "reviewing" this without anybody talking about it. All the same bullet points of topics regurgitated

It has a kick-stand that has almost all the weight on it
@@NOlimitsON thank you
Hi, you mentioned a newer version being released soon, do you have any more info from monduo about release date and price?
Hi! Unfortunately no...
I use a rooster laptop stand, do you know if this monitor setup works with a laptop stand?
Not sure, mate…

I think monduo will soon release a smaller version)
can you just use one screen?
Yes
I'm considering buying this, but I have a GS76 Stealth (17.3'') do you think it will fit?
I think it should, but you’d better contact the support on Monduo website to double check

Does the price tag 799 include import tariffs? That’s a detail I’d not like to miss.
I’m not sure mate… you’d better ask Monduo directly

It’s compatible with Windows dude. It’s just a set of monitors.
Given that there's an HDMI output is it possible to plug a console into one of these monitors?
I think yes)
Does it work with the 16 inch 2019 macbook pro? The specs are 2.6 GHz 6-core intel core i7.
Sure
Super!
Can you mount the 16 inch monduo on a 17" laptop? Or does the laptop have to be exactly 16 inches?
I think it depends on the exact laptop. I think it can fit some 17” laptops

does this work with the 14 inch MacBook Pro as well?
Yes, but it won’t be that beautiful 😅
did they release the mini LED version yet?
Not yet as far as I know
Does it work with MacBook Pro 15 2018 ?
Don’t test it, but I’m 99% sure it should 😉
does it work on macbook pro m3 basic ver?
Nope, only one external monitor is supported with M3 chip. M3Pro supports 2 external monitors, M3 Max - 4.
also working for 13 inch macbook?
Depends on the model, some computers (like with M1 chip) only support 1 external display. Keep that in mind and check the specs first.
Can i use this with a dell xps 17 inch laptop?
I thinks yes, the hinge has enough space for 17” laptops
Is compatible with a 18 inch laptop?
Don’t think so…
@@NOlimitsON Could you recommend one that is compatible for an 18-inch Asus?
