Great video! And love the "you are the only wife I have comment". Very funny.
It’s true, none of my other wives are mechanically inclined at all!! 😂
Get the manual 😂😂😉, you guys make a great team James and Julie. Have a great day 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
thay dầu bộ truyền cho máy Kubota kx040. bạn làm rất tuyệt.
Great job James and Julie. I don’t even own a mini so I watch strictly for entertainment purposes. You don’t disappoint.
Full watch and a 👍. See you for the next one
😂 Thanks - always RTFM …. Read the _____ manual!! 😝
I have projects that we do with the kids at the school are used to work at so any of the small RC cars or electronics like that I would take those so we can term apart and reuse the parts for other projects with the kids at school
Hi Robert - these may have sat out in the rain but if you want them, send me your address to killingitcountry@gmail.com and I’d be happy to ship them to you!!
Great team work. The problem with a maintenance video is that it has us questioning when we last did that on our old Case
Ha!! That’s funny! I can see why this job gets ignored!
Good day mon ami, your video's start like the Rick Mercer Report ( walking talking ! ) 👍🤣 You are an effective team work 😉👌 Lefty losing righty tidy 🤣👍 Outstanding video and great fire pit mon ami ( FULL WATCH )🧐👌 Cheers 🍻
OMG I LOVE Rick Mercer Dave!! He should be Prime Minister!! Thanks for watching!
@@KillingItCountry I will be the first to vote for him 👍😉 I know him since it start his career when he was in Halifax in the mid 90's 👍😉🍻
Great job coaching the Mrs. Here at Caterpillar we call them final drives. The hydraulic motor is separate and called a drive motor. Great Job. Have a great one, Jason
I always referred to them as final drives as well, even before owning a mini-ex. You work at Caterpillar?? You’ve probably operated some cool machinery!!?? Thanks for watching!
@@KillingItCountry Yeah. I'm on the Marketing and Product Support side. We don't get to run any of the machines here. Just a corporate job, but on the farm back in Kansas, we run a lot of Cat machines. Keep up the great content.
Great job James and Julie! That was pretty cool to see and holy cow how hot was that fire at the end. I mean I live next to the sun it feels like so I do not need a fire yet. hahahaha.
That was just a baby fire!! 😂 🔥 thanks for watching Kyle!! Have a great weekend!
😂 great video!
Always enjoy your humor
Keep it up 👍
James Julie this was great team work the best
God Bless All
PaK
Thanks for watching Peter!!
Great team work! This was the best Kubota KX final drive oil change video I’ve ever watched! Definitely going to have some metallics in the oil on the first change. Running to get the kids off the bus, do they require a parent to be at the stop up there? I just drop my kids of the bus regardless and peal out 🤣! Take care bud!
Another couple years and the bus company will let them off the bus without an adult present … for now they’re too young. “Best Kubota KX final drive oil change video” ever …. 🤣 come one Ben, how many have you watched??? Be honest 😝 HAHA thanks Ben!!
@@KillingItCountry 🤦♂️ ok this may have been my first, but it was awesome 👍👍!
Bwahahaha!!! 😂 👍
How's she goin'? Good to get this job done and having the boss there with you, well you handled that situation pretty cool!!! I was surprised at how dark the oil was. Definitely a good idea to change it. It'll be interesting to see how dark it is next change. BTW Julie does a nice job operating the excavator and isn't afraid to turn some wrenches either. Pretty nice!! Take care!!!
Anyone that wants to come outside and learn a thing or two around here gets my undivided attention! I love it when she shows interest in not only the operation but the maintenance too! I’m not too surprised at the color of the oil but I am surprised Kubota would be okay with letting it go 500 hours between services. I would never allow that - oil is cheap & final drives are not!! Thanks Mike!!
O-Rings don't require torque like a pitched thread. Over tightening O-Rings defies them and they'll leak.
I figured as much because it was an o-ring and not a crush washer … still, assigning a torque value to a drain plug would eliminate all doubt when you’re a bone-head like me 😂 thanks for watching and commenting Sean!!
I always remove the fill plug first before the drain plug. It sucks if you get the drain plug out and all the fluid and can't get the fill plug out to refill it.
In that case I would have just measured the volume of oil I removed, rotate the track to get the drain port to the top (won’t hurt to do a half revolution with no oil in the final drive) and then just add the same volume of oil through the drain port. Thanks again Mike - you’ve been busy watching my videos… thank you SO MUCH for your support!!! - James
Nice sharing big like 👍👌
Thanks for watching and commenting Mitra!
I came here expecting for a nitrous shot being added to the Dodge Caravan but noooooooo someone wants to talk about something called an Eggscalator and oil and stuff. UGH. Haha, good video, entertaining narration as well!
I must’ve given that caravan just enough attention that it’s stayed away!!! Thank goodness! LOL. Thanks for watching Logan!!
You know what they say 1/4 turn before it snaps when I changed the oil on my bx23s the second time there was metal slivers in it and alot of grey silicone same for the transmission fluid scares me now when I hook up my loader the rt piston is slow and the dump piston bleeds of make me wonder if the valve assembly for the loader isn't clogged with something sigh I love the tractor but I've had nothing but problems with it since day one only have 220hrs on it.
Damn Stephen that’s crappy!! Any help from OTT forum (Orange Tractor Talks) … so many smart guys over there who have work arounds for a lot of issues on the BX’s. My next oil change is coming due at 600 hours. My only two BX complaints are under powered and no cab 😂 thanks for watching and commenting - good luck!
@@KillingItCountry it's still under warranty I've had it in the shop 3 times for other stuff but they say we dont find anything and I wind up fixing it myself on some stuff work for Chevrolet for 24yrs but the hydraulic stuff going to let them try to fix it. It's used coolant from 2hrs when I got it not alot but it shouldn't do that but I fixed all the leaks from the hoses after they said they did my dealership in town kindof lost some trust in the service dept the next dealership 70 miles away ugg. Might have to knuckle up and take it there total number of days they had it was 90 just not to find any problems then they said they might have to charge me because they didn't find anything burns me up I bought the bx23s with loader backhoe 60in mower deck and a orange line 20ft trailer cost me 33k you'd think they would treat me right.
Beautiful machine bro! Yeah people always have a better way for doing everything..lol
Thanks man!! Honestly most people’s recommendations and ideas are spot-on! However, every once in a while there is a bone-head with something right out of left-field and I’m like “huh?” LOL thanks for watching!
@@KillingItCountry that’s right!
Hey Guys, So what is this oil stuff you are talking about? I will have to look into it. Do all things with engines use this so-called oil? Are there different kinds? Sorry for all the questions, just curious.
I tried to put chain oil in the final drives but the tracks spun too fast 😂 Next time I’ll use 50:1 mix 🤪
Love Blah Blah Torques. Cheers
Huh?
@@KillingItCountry Your wife talking about the torque requirements for the plugs.
Oh 😂… yes … probably the same way I would reply if I was trying to help my wife with scrap-booking “blah blah embellishments!?” Sorry I’m a little thick sometimes lol. Thanks for the comment and the watch!
@@KillingItCountry All good! Take care. Went to Kubota dealer today asking about mini ex, you're a bad influence.
You too Mark!!
It’s definitely not 5/16”. No Japanese company would use SAE units. It’s 8mm 🤪
Clearly, I’m not a professional nut and bolt guy. Thanks for watching!
Funny how you said you should take a trip to hazardous waste...and then there was a trip to hazardous waste...and then we filled the trailer again...never ends...
And I never got it on film!! It was too busy of a weekend!
Shes a smart chick
She certainly is. I’d like to keep her.
So, you must be like the mormons down here in the States and have multiple wives there in Canada. How many can you handle. LOL🤣
I can’t even handle Julie 😂 I love my wife, I’d never want another 😛
@@KillingItCountry That's what I thought.
Send me the RC car
Send me your address to killingitcountry@gmail.com and I’ll ship it to you Robert!! Very cool!
