Our topic is "Installed ram not showing up". When the ram is not showing up nothing will be on monitor. Then how will we perform all the methods ? Kindly let me know.
Bios sees 4X8GB 32GB, CPU Z Sees 4X8GB 32GB, Windows 10 only sees 16GB. In About System in only indicates 16GB it doesn't mention useable RAM. In MSCONFIG/BOOT it doesn't show any text about the system and i cannot access advanced features..
I brought the new ram 16gb, but it can't detect the old one after I change it place. Might be the place problem I hope. Is the place for the ram different size or smtg?😂

@@bl4nk270 i tried checking the memory settings, removing the ram, updating windows/bios and nothing works. I know that they function because windows knows theyre there and they are rgb and can be changed in software settings. so atp i dont even know what the issue is, gonna just buy a whole new set.
Upgraded my ram on an optiplex 3020. It worked great ended up selling the pc later. Im assuming in shipping something got messed up because when they went to set it up nothing would show up on the monitor. When i got the system back, i found it works if i remove my left ram stick. (both sticks work fine when plugged into the other slot) How to fix? Or figure out whats wrong with my 2nd slot

When you said windows 7 I started to freak out but then realize I have windows 10 but still had the windows 7 sticker on😅

She probably means not "ALL" of ur ram isn't showing if u gt multiple ram skits

@@JayyEvolvedyour motherboard might be limited to only 32gb max like mine. So 64gb won't work
I fixed this problem by changing my cpu.. I was surprised at first, but it worked.

i upragaded my gpu and all of a sudden my motherboard ram slot is not working
Only half of my ram is showing up, but when i changed my cpu it fixed the problem...

My Dell Bios is reporting my 2 8gb sticks as 4 gb, before Win 10 even loads. The DIMM speed is correct. Don't know why.
