Based on your review, and just received it yesterday. I must say, as a cheap watch enthusiast (who also owns a Rolex DJ, BTW), I was immediately impressed with this watch. The '3-D' dial looks like it belongs on, at least a $5,000 watch. Simply stunning in all light conditions. The watch is super light, almost disappearing on my wrist. Apart from some very sharp edges on the clasp (hair-puller), I can do nothing but praise this thing. That being said, I'd love to see them make watches like this (with the Seiko Quartz movement) more 'upscale'. Give us a sapphire crystal. Spend a little more time smoothing out the bottom edges of the clasp and bracelet. And go ahead, charge us more money for these things. We'll PAY it!
I happy to hear your satisfication with the watch 😊 And THANK YOU for coming back and giving us a review with your thoughts about it with good and bad, I am sure it is not only appreciated by me, but also by other viewers! Wear it in good health, and hope to hear more from you! 😄👌

Great review! Gorgeous dimensional dial, love the hands (and the lume). I completely agree with you about the crystal. A watch this gorgeous deserves not only a sapphire crystal, but also an upgraded bracelet and clasp. At $54.00, it's certainly inexpensive enough for them to offer the option of an upgrade on the crystal AND the bracelet to one with screw pins. I'd also love to see the option of a clasp with on-the-fly adjustment such as San Martin offers. Put all that together, and they could easily ask $150.00 for this one. Come on, Addiesdive, give the public what they want!

Hello mate, you can find the link to the strap in description of the video 😊 The strap is a bit dry when it is new, but it becomes softer with usage or if you wash it with soap and rinse 🙌
FYI it's not a mecaquartz movement (no mechanical module inside) as it's not a chronograph, it's only a sweeping second quartz movement which is fine (4 bps).
@@waynesellers4078 i thought so too, but I will read up on the movement and see if I can justify it being more mechanically dependant than traditional quartz movements or if it is just a misunderstanding that got spread among the community
Great video and the watch looks good with one exception that I do not care for anymore and that is no more quartz movement which requires every 2 years give or take in time to replace batteries. I only stick to automatic movement from San Martin and Seestern but to each its own for those who do not mind replacing batteries..
Thank you for watching and commenting! Personally now that I have 30+ watches I like to have many quartz watches because I have to set all my automatics constantly when switching(happens 3-4 times a week). In total it takes me far more time than just replacing the battery once every two years. So I think it is very dependent on who the user is
Keep in mind that auto movements do break down (though I have auto watches un-serviced for 20+ years that still work fine). Maye a solar/quartz combo is the most efficient.
@@RIOLOGY True. However, I had a Citizen Stiletto solar cell that lasted a very long time (15+ yrs, if I'm not mistaken). Easier and cheaper to swap out a battery than an auto movement.

Well yeah, it came with this new Conquest dial instead and new model number AD2066. But it was 1 year ago I designed their logo hoping it to be put on the AD2030. I consider this a win after the 1 year wait
I would buy it, but then i had to see the Logo every day. As a typographer and graphic artist i can‘t look at it. Why not use the typo from the other logo (which is ugly as well, but the font is allright)?
@@knutjunker2019 I actually prefer this new font much more, I think it comes down to personal preference, I was the once who suggested them this logo, among other alternatives, 1 year ago, so blame me 😭
Personally, I am confused why a company would build a watch with this use case (dressy sporty) and cut corners to sell it for $55. Why not put the additional investment into the model (sapphire crystal, upgraded bracelet and clasp)? It like they are racing to the bottom in terms of price. Here is a real question- who in the hell asked them to make this watch for $50? The same people that would buy this watch at $50 would buy this watch (with upgrades) at $130. SMH
I think that you are correct when it comes to us watch entusiasts, many would like to pay more with the upgrades mentioned 😊 But I think that most people who shops at Aliexpress are looking to get the best deal possible for a gorgeous looking watch. I hope they make an upgraded option! 👌
@@RIOLOGYI think you have a good point but a deeper look reveals that there is the potential for higher margins with the use of higher specs. Same reason Rolex (through production restrictions) pushes new buyers toward white gold or platinum models - much higher profit margin. Especially in this case we’re Addiesdive is likely only making 200-300 of these watches. In this case, when volume is not a major factor, then getting the most profit margin makes more sense. @@ZaxxVirx I know one thing, as long as it is 316L Stainless Steel you have nothing to worry about regardless of where the watch comes from. Most of Europe imports processed 316L SS from China for many industries. And despite that, Addiesdive has almost exported 100'000 watches world wide in 316L Stainless steel. We would have heard something by now if someone was affected by toxins. If you buy random metal alloys that are chrome plated, that is when you should worry, like for example with $7 watches from China or Fossil watches sold in the West. And if you are really worried then research about DuPont and how the majority of the world population is now affected by their toxins and PFAS.
@@travosk8668 Got to love the "Jubilee" style strap, but I sold one of my watches recently and described the bracelet as a Jubilee in the eBay listing. Three days in and someone with way too much spare time reported me for breaching the copyright relating to the use of thexword Jubilee. Apparently, we're supposed to refer to this style of bracelet as "J style" these days. Yet another eord that should be OK because the word is in common usage, but no. I used the word and got a telling off from a well known, Swiss watch manufacturer. It's just as bad in the case of automotive brand BMW, who own the rights to use the name "Mini." I think that this was settled because of the huge demand that there is, even today, for BMC / BLMC MINIS, an example of which would go very nicely with this Addiesdive watch on the owner's wrist... and don't get me started on "Tiffany Blue!" Swiss watchmakers are hardly a threat to that historic name? Anyway, this Addiesdive appeals to my taste in inexpensive Chinese timepieces, even if I can't spell the word "turquoise.

FYI it's not a mecaquartz movement (no mechanical module inside) as it's not a chronograph, it's only a sweeping second quartz movement which is fine (4 bps).
@@morgan.enfield thank you for the correction, I will have to read up on it more in detail now 😊
mecaquartz doesn't have to be a chronograph, it just has to have mechanical parts and be quartz.
@@waynesellers4078 i thought so too, but I will read up on the movement and see if I can justify it being more mechanically dependant than traditional quartz movements or if it is just a misunderstanding that got spread among the community

@@zillsburyy1 its a great looking watch for sure! 😊
@@adamt1564 even solar quartz needs a battery change after many years as the battery degrades over time, nothing is forever 😭
@@RIOLOGY True. However, I had a Citizen Stiletto solar cell that lasted a very long time (15+ yrs, if I'm not mistaken). Easier and cheaper to swap out a battery than an auto movement.
@@adamt1564 yeah I not worried with either auto or quartz, I have only been able to afford watches in the past 5 years or so, before that was one watch and I was happy like that, good ol days 🥲
I'd get this for the overall clean(er) look, fonts and dial colour, better and sharper indicies and hands and of course the movement i like a lot.I won't bother at all for the crystal, maybe the bracelet too. But i won't get because of the 19mm lug.

@@stavros_katsopr thank you for your comment mate! Glad to see you here again 😊
The 19mm bracelet can definitely be a drawback if you already have a set of other sized straps
Thanks for the review! Definitely a sharp-looking watch and great value. If it sells well, I'm guessing they'll soon offer an automatic version with a sapphire crystal, like they did with the sand dune watch. By the way, the automatic version of the dune watch already comes with the new script logo, sapphire, jubilee bracelet, and upgraded indices, but not lume.
@@jaydub9509 Thank you too, for both watching and commenting!
I really enjoy the size and proportions of the VH31 version, I wish they made the automatic upgrades for this watch aswell. The automatic you mentioned also sounds tempting now though 😊
@@RIOLOGY I own the automatic version, and I think it was definitely worth the extra $40-50. My only complaint is that the lug ends and underside of the bracelet links are a bit sharp, although fortunately that does not seem to affect the wearing experience.

Miles better before. It's hard to beat the white dune dial. Beautiful snowfield.
@@PocketUau the sand dune dials are gorgeous in their own regards aswell, I just hope they could update them with the new logo
SMH
I think that you are correct when it comes to us watch entusiasts, many would like to pay more with the upgrades mentioned 😊
But I think that most people who shops at Aliexpress are looking to get the best deal possible for a gorgeous looking watch.
Wonderful convo and I love your channel!!!
@@KP-wp5sz you have a point there, but I think they need to start trying to establish their brand more outside of AX also, I think they have the potential to make good profits if they rebrand and start marketing towards the western market!
I can imagine the dent they would do to Seiko and similiar brands if they did this correctly.
Enjoy talking to you to bro, thanks for engaging with the channel! 💯🔥
@@RIOLOGY I agree. And re-sell The for a highier price.
How can I be sure that it does not contain toxic chemicals or metals like so many products from the far East?
@@ZaxxVirx take it to the lab bro, and while you already booked it, make sure to bring your Tissot with you aswell, because its case and bracelet is also imported from China
@@RIOLOGYI believe Tissot as a brand has too much to lose if they did not obey the European laws regarding hazardous substances.
You are right !! this watch deserves sapphire Cristal
@@haroldcastle Thank you for sharing your opinion 😊👌
defo not the bracelet for this style. A jubilee would be awesome
@@travosk8668 I wish they offered an option to choose
@jayeblagburn2056
That is so true! As a content creator I have to be careful or how I mention stuff, for example I have to be careful to call a non original bracelet jubilee for example
