I don't know how you find the time in the summer to vlog, your days have always been so full. I love watching them but you definitely deserve to take time for yourself to enjoy life. I used to teach student at a colony near my town. I’ve missed interacting with the people there. You’re vlogs give me such nostalgia for the years i spent going to the local colony :)
Hi Giselle,
Moving forward, set your phone to automatically back up your photos and videos in Google Photos. Then you can access them from a laptop or a new phone. Also, set your phone to automatically sync with your Google account. If you lose or break your phone, you can get a new one and grab all of your contacts, texts and calendar events very easily.

I did, but the pictures that I treasured the most were the ones that for some reason didn't upload. 😥
@gisellewaldner9406 sometimes sync doesn't work automatically for the latest pics. You need to check if they were uploaded into Google account
@@Lilac441213 Yes, you're right. They used to sync automatically, but now sometimes they don't and you have to manually "share" to Google Photos.

Dear Giselle, I would say enjoy your time off , but although I know you take great satisfaction in your part of your colonies' work, it's not really time off. We will all look forward to whatever you have time to share . It's a lot of work to film , and edit these videos . Summer is a wonderful time of year, but so, so busy. I love fall and really enjoy the quiet, slow days of winter. Seems like I don't have enough time to enjoy summer. Hope you have a productive break and we'll see you soon :)
I definitely can understand how busy your summers are. Every time I pop out to work at the school on the colony I work at they are always so busy. Beaver tails are so delicious, I hope everyone enjoyed them.

You could pick 5 or 6 courts, processing them in bags. Then you would have strawberries half way through the winter.

Giselle, my friend, again you have touched me with your choice of scripture! You might remember I have a son who is serving a mission.. he and his companion that he serves with just found out that they have Covid. I sent him this scripture as I felt it would help the two of them remember that they are going to be alright, as they continue to serve him in spirit until they are well.

I have eaten my share of strawberries this year so have moved on to fresh tomatoes. Toasted tomato and cheese sandwiches. All the while waiting for corn on the cob in August. Hot and humid here too in Québec. Looking forward to autumn in all its glory 🍂🍁🍃

What were the red things you were picking off the shrubs at lunch?
I don't really like raspberries. But at our 4th of July makeup BBQ thing this lady made angel food cake with berries and homemade whipped cream (and I didn't mind the raspberries), so good, did I already tell you this? In my childhood home, we had wild strawberries out back.
I know you have a lot of produce is it all for the colony or is some of it to sell? Also do you have any livestock? Cows or chickens?
Giselle if you keep your card from your phone it should work on the next one. I told you I'm terrible with phones but always when I get a new one put my memory,sim.card in everything is there because as my husband and son tell me it's in the cloud. I don't understand it but it's true works every time. Can't get on at my husband today he's having a triple bypass tomorrow and I'm a little bit scared they will be off soon to the hospital. Or I would have asked him about it. But enjoy your break you need it. Give kona a big cuddle from me.

As another commentator said , if possible check out Google or depending on the brand of your phone it may have its own cloud storage system. There is also WhatsApp . They have their own cloud or you could send your photos/ videos to another member of the colony for temporary safe keeping . Good luck . 😊😊❤
