The M97 trench gun, and the Model 1897 trench gun were both equipped with slam fire, so you can just hold the trigger and keep racking the slide back and forth and it'll fire off a round each time the slide click forward, probably why it shoots so fast in BF1.

The M97 Trench Gun in BF1 is amazing, and I love to run around with it as squad leader! It's just super fitting that the Sarge/Sergeant gets the Boomstick! I just wish there was **1** extra round in the magazine tube, that way it would hold as much ammo as it did IRL! Regardless, I love using the Trench Gun PERIOD, although I try to only use it when playing as the AEF/US, the British, or the French, to make it a tiny bit more historically accurate!

Dude that granade kill was the most luckiest or most calculated kill i have ever seen. You made killing a calvaryman look easy when machine guns, mines, and antitank rocketgun can barely kill these guys who seem to have wolverine regeneration abilities
I have the most fun with the model 1900. As a matter of fact, i love all the NOTT weapons. That AT grenade kill of that horse was stellar! Comforting to know that even Jak gets merced by those lame-ass hellreigals too.

Jack did you know the M97 Shotguns and the Hellfighter Shotguns are the same. Plus they're are what you call "Slam Fire" Which means you can hold fire and it will fire of rapid shot because the weapon can still be fired while holding the trigger and repetitively pumping the pump.
Hey jack the hellfighter shotgun can be fired like full auto just hold down the trigger and it keeps firing! Great for sweeping rooms and a detail alot of people miss!
The Trench Broom is really underrated. It has the high RoF of the 12 gauge but also has solid 1-hit-kill potential. You need to be a little better at aiming than the 10-A for those sweet one-bangs but the firerate makes it pretty forgiving.
