I remember the first time i played this back when it launched. Hearing the 2 dreadnoughts honk their horns at each other and trading salvos was simply amazing
Aye m8. This stuff was the creme de la creme back then. Got so much nostalgia for those days when bf1 was in its prime and all the big channels like Westie, Jackfrags, flakfire, and hell even levelcap were doing tons of coverage on it :(

This game just seems to have something about it that BFV is missing that I instantly pick up on, its like the visuals and sounds alone make this game stand out so refreshingly, then youve got the numerous maps and locations, good game overall.

the phrase you're looking for is "art direction". BFV may have better technical graphics, but they're presented unappealingly
The problem is that BFV has amazing graphics but they are completely different from BF1. It is just too idealistic in its whole design whereas bf1 is grimy and brutal, which really depicts the war in a great way and makes the game so much more realistic.
Good graphics do not necessarily make a game beautiful or good

Guys, i would say every map is so beautiful. This is another reason why i still love bf one. Now my favorite is zeebrugge i love the way it is structured( in/exterior, different levels etc...)

This game just always looked and felt way better and more like a war than BF5 with their over colourful maps with a nice sunset out yonder and light rays shining through the fall coloured trees..

El Kappa and those war zones don’t typically look like any of the maps in BF5... this game just had way better feel to the maps and it set the tone real good.

Logan Rhodes for real man. Iwo Jima was the first map to have somewhat of a gritty dark feel but even that map the sun shines with clear skies. It should get smoky like the fog in BF1 and it would be way better. Still tho 1 map ain’t shit. I still play BF1 a lot.

Re downloaded this game last night. So good. They absolutely nailed the atmosphere in this one. Makes BFV feel like.. I don't know.. but definitely not war.

RSC has always been a two shot kill so i don't see how it could get nerfed. Just takes actual skill to land your shots instead of spraying and praying like assault/support classes
toper997 sniper rifles can 1 shot kill with a hs or within the sweetspot range.
Atlas the rsc 2 shot range is up to 70 meters...
Kaaris Zongo Le Dozo because scout rifles can also one shot headshot if you have the skill to back them up.
You don't need to spray with assault anymore. It kills in 4 shots now. The shotguns are 1 shot. The support class needs a buff. It's impossible to kill a assault or medic at close range. I'm trying to finish a Lewis Gun and Mercie Gun mission. But it's impossible with their damage and speed.
Its all about faith sir, if i spray and pray im safe in the knowledge the lord will gift me a kill. Funnily enough he seems to think me more worthy of mutiple, back to back deaths, still my faith will hold.

Great gameplay, that was one of my favourite from your acclaimed "Across the Battlefield" . That kit change revive @23:47 ! If only more people did that the game would a lot more enjoyable. Respawns are too slow and it's fun changing kits; The RSC is a fun gun, but man that reload is too slow and its accuracy is great on it's follow up shot.

My second favorite map in this entery game, I think we can all agree that Using the Tank Hunter Kit on the Attack Plane on this map is one of the best things battlefield 1 has offered in a while.
Feels so good to just hunt down boats/Destroyers with it.
True, this is something that i wanted for a long time, some good Sea-Air Combat experience.
Tank Hunter on Zeebrugge is great too. I took out three destroyers with the elite class and then when they spawned, they would come straight to me to hunt me down.
i haven't played that much on zeebrugge, but the fell rounds that i played on it i played only as a infantary soldier, i didn't like zeebrugge that much tbh.

didn't get the chance to fight the destroyer with the Tank Hunter, and i always imagined that it wouldn't do that much damage.

Man, BF1 has by far the best sound design out of all BF titles since BF3.
First battlefield ever played was 4 a while after release, no good at it but a total blast, pre-order bf1 and now totally improved and constantly inspired by jackfrags keep up the good work one of the greatest games ever made

I don't think the next battlefield will be WWII. There has been way to many games coming out that take place in the WWII timeline. Even though battlefield 1 is obviously world war 1, it's still similar to the play style. I think they are going to change up the pace of the fps games and go to a modern day time period.

Do you mean if they make a battlefield Vietnam again? That would be awesome! Though I feel it might get a little dull because of the map selections. But other than that, the weapons are perfect to make it fast paced enough of a battlefield game.
Rising storm 2 just did vietnam. It got boring fast. and BF has done vietnam twice in the past. And modern day has been overdone by BF. There nothing more to be added atm than what theyve already done with BF2, BC1, BC2, 3 and 4. The next BF will be WWII
I love this map, the diversity is refreshing.
Also, Zeebrugge reminds me of BF2:Special Forces, with the submarine map. It's a good map for "infiltration", I love it.

The fact that the torpedo boats can literally fire salvo after salvo after salvo of torpedoes really annoys me. I know this is now practically an arcade game but at least DICE could make the reload time like 60 seconds, because right now torpedo boats are horribly OP.

This dlc kind of sucked. Wide open objectives with little cover, horrible map flow aside from Achi Baba. I see the same thing happening with Apocalypse. TSNP was the only decent one imo. I definitely will be hesitant before buying the next premium pass.
Bam I actually really liked this dlc, good weapons, lots of fun in vehicles, lots of service assignments to do, awesome medals and dog tags, I really liked it, just like the russian dlc
