And Mumu's is so nice for her just for the 100% stat copy on her water clone too, why are you making the gap between them even worse???

    • @KyuubiDragon4
      @KyuubiDragon4 6 месяцев назад

      @@sundoll3710 That kinda makes it worse. If every tactical point is quick to die to arts damage, giving his the ability to dodge arts (even with just a 50/50 chance for a few seconds after one of the wolves dies) would've given him a huge leg up that he sorely needs. Especially since arts damage is getting more and more prevalent among the enemies as the game adds more events and chapters.
      And they literally couldn't do nothing with him, that's the whole point of giving him a module in the first place. But he really needed more than what he got, because before there was just no gameplay-focused reason to pick him over any other tactician, even the lower rarities, and now... there still isn't. Which is a shame because otherwise he's a really neat character with a cool aesthetic and I'd love to use him myself but I don't have the resources to spare for such an underwhelming character.

    Vigil mod is kinda nice, if the dodge can stack it mean. 50% first life, 75% 2nd life and so on so maintain the 3 head( cus he start with 4 now) is a coin toss, and 2 around flametail chance. If it dont stack then it kinda mid. The wolf have kinda same bulk as texas, and 4 life with atleast 50% dodge and 15% less damage, so if an enemy kill one dog in 1 hit they will take potentially 3 or 4 hit with this( 1 to red zone, 1 dodge, 1 kill if they dont straigh up kill it 1 shot) so actually wayy more survival.
    If it stack it will be hard to remove the dog in just 15 to 20s wheniut have dodge.
    (But this only applied to physical side of thing, although no one sane use this mf against caster in the first place.)
    Use him quite alot and his problem imo never the dog have low survival rate tbh, it just expendable resource to be use anyway. The main problem i have is he dont have a way to focus on the enemy that the dog is blocking which make him wasted half of his kit. If you ever use him at all you will know vigil aint good against many enemy, he do find until anything above 600 def apear that block the dog and him gunning down the small fry with less def that is not block by the dog which wasted a ton of his dps while make the dog it self carried that damage for longer ie why it die so random 80% of the time. Many people dont realize that the "total" stat of the dog itself is better than quite abit of the vanguard class and it regenerate. Their damage on paper is actually quite nice but they dont get that damn paper most of the time cus how he prioritize stuff. Like this is nice but just make him gun anything the dog is blocking, shit will be fix.

    • @aintailstweentales7964
      @aintailstweentales7964 6 месяцев назад

      Nah you got it wrong, the max number of block is only 3 not 4, originally without his module his wolves starts at only 2 blocks, and dodge mechanics itself is honestly wonky, if it's not 100℅ then its just 50/50 so RIP auto runs getting ruined by that dodge chances. That 15% less dmg is also kinda useless by some runs where his wolves are getting gunned down or sniped by range enemies at the start of the game cause the enemies need to be blocked by the wolves (kinda my main problem sometimes) in total this module is kinda meh, they could have fully strengthen his wolves' defensive stats but they gave him this dodge bullshit instead 😐😐

  • @BringOnTheTrumpets
    @BringOnTheTrumpets 6 месяцев назад +4

    The fact that Vigil spawns his wolf with max shadows is a pretty nice change. RNG survivability when you lose a shadow's a little awkward, but the times you're using the wolf to tank it's generally for smaller-but-faster attacks for stuff like S1/2 while hoping the wolf survives the duration of S3 (for which the base trait helps a lot here). Doubt it's too gamebreaking to fix his core issues, but it helps for at least general gameplay.

    • @Gorden121
      @Gorden121 6 месяцев назад +1

      I don't see why the 2nd module would be better than the first.
      In Arknights debuffs are applyed BEFORE the hit, so her first module buffing her increased damage against aerial targets is great because every hit that applies a levitate already profits from that increased damage talent. Also aerial not only means levitated but also hovering and flying enemies like drones.
      Her second module's weightless HP requirement is better but still not amazing. And the Arts Fragility below 50% is good but considering we already have multiple sources of Arts Fragility, most prominently Hibiscus Alter and Reed Alter (who also does more Arts Fragility) and Arts Fragility not stacking makes it a rather niche upgrade.

    • @QarumCro
      @QarumCro 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@Gorden121 Yea, but one thing - Not all enemy can be levitated and some enemy just heavy as ass and will fall back fast enough (4 or higher). So, you can use her second module to stall some heavy enemy longer and kill them faster in second hp part. More over - Arts fragility from other operators is good, but it's mean you need bring them along. And supporter have shorter range, so also can not work because of potential danger or no range tile. It's not always choice. Especially in IS.

    • @Gorden121
      @Gorden121 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@QarumCro If you're using skill 3, which most people use, it's not better. As I said, the Levitate is applied before the attack, so any attack that applies levitate will get the damage bonus. So if the enemy can be levitated it doesn't matter how long, if they fall down immediately it doesn't matter because every attack with S3 applies levitate. Also you want to hit enemies as far away as possible because of the damage increase with range and because of that and the increased range of S3 you cannot benefit from the SP bonus. Only if you use S1 or S2 I can see it being better because of the higher Skill Uptime and for S2 the Levitate duration actually matters.

    • @QarumCro
      @QarumCro 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@Gorden121 Pal, did you read what i write? First - Not all enemy can be levitated, so against this enemy, fragile effect will be more effective. Second - Use this module to stall some heavy enemy longer. If when i use her, there is a bully or sarkaz devourer, i want to hold them longer in one place, because in IS, there no guarantees that she kill them. More over, as you say, you prefer to hit enemy on max range, so even not in IS, if enemy will be longer levitated, he will less move between her attacks and so will less getting closer, and this way get more damage. And no, using someone to stall, while she use from far away, is not always a option (like undeployable tiles or just enemy that you don't wanna block/can't block). Also, SP regen can be used, because she attack on three tile when use S3, So, if there one elite enemy near her, she still can use him to charge skill and use it against far away enemy on other two lines.
      It's just looks like you try find a way to not use her second module - If you don't like, so be it. I see use for it and i see situations when it's can be more good then first one. And no, refer to first your comment, i don't say its "better". It's just can be used on pair with first one.

      @yammoto148 5 месяцев назад

      @@Gorden121 Its a matter of coverage when it comes to Ho'ol since she can apply that fragility over a massive area, thanks to the way her S3 works. Reed unless getting a chain reaction is mostly going to only apply it to 1 enemy at a time, and Hibiscus has worse range and a limit of 2 targets a time. Ho'ol can apply the fragility to everyone in her S3 range which if you remember specifies: Extend attack range. In general this is a massive buff for her.

    Honestly, I'd say it's a pretty decent patch overall. There's no big winners, but apart from Aroma, there's no big losers like most patches do.
    Aroma tries to focus on damage entirely when she barely does any to begin with, the base effect is the best part and even that's conditional. Ascalon has horrible upgrades, but the base effect is fairly significant at least.
    Vigil's... Got a lot, actually, but he needs so much it might not even be enough. 50% still is a high chance of failure...
    Beanstalk and Blacknight are decent upgrades (not sure why Blacknight got a defensive base effect, I can understand Beanstalk's since she could use help killing stuff), Mumu gets some nice QOL and a slightly above average DPS gain for the clones, Ho'oh focuses entirely on utility now, drastically cutting her SP costs with the base effect and heavily stalling + softening enemies as they approach, and helps others finish them off faster as they arrive finally. It doesn't fix all the issues she has, but it does a good amount more.
    Lutonada I'd probably say gains the most. A massive amount of HP and talent means that she gets almost 50% more effective HP per kill with her base effect. And more DEF is good too, especially for an Enmity.

      @galeria_m 6 месяцев назад +5

      @obsiangravel thatd make him an overpowered vanguard tank no way, with how many his summon can block, thatd go up to 100% damage reduction which is basically nullification, or 80% damage reduction which is higher than silence alter's maximum shelter which is 72% with s2m3 and ally below 30% hp
      im joking, i get the idea tho. id say the 15& reduc from the base effect is good enough, maybe

      @obsiangravel 6 месяцев назад +9

      @@galeria_m I think it's pretty balanced idea since it depends on the amount of wolves he has and needs to be blocking enemies, plus the wolves still have the stats of wet toilet paper.

    • @galeria_m
      @galeria_m 6 месяцев назад +3

      @obsiangravel i mean a flat 20% shelter while blocking one enemy is already wild, not even abjurers have that just lying around. a 20% would stop his wolves from dying so easily already, what more if it increased to god damn 40% damage reduction just by blocking another enemy.
      youd be surprised at how much shelter actually does, even just what, like 40% shelter? allowed a god damn ranged unit like silence alter to tank patriot's ranged attack dude, and it didn't even need to proc the invincibility on her s3. Shelter is pretty darn powerful.
      silter is actually somewhat better than shining just because shelter works the way it does compared to DEF.
      correction, she did in fact proc the invincibility, her s3 just buffs the shelter to 18%. 3rd edit here, it didnt actually proc it, 18% shelter allowed her to survive patriot's spear.
      in any case, her s2 showcases is a better way to show how potent shelter is since it quite literally focuses on sheltering.
