Thanks for the video. This worked for me on VCDS Lite to verify and reset the EGR settings to default; bought car recently and putting it all back to stock.
Hello, And thanks for all your nice videos, I would like to ask you a question, after replacing the EGR valve of my 2012 Sharan VW 2L TDI, do I have to make the adjustment for the new valve? Many thanks in advance for your reply.
I have a 2012 Jetta TDI sedan mk6 I have an EGR issues trying I can login but in adaptations I can't change values I can only reset and do an EGR alignment or force a DPF regeneration I'm pretty sure I have a clone cable vag 17 hex + can could this be why I cannot get into the settings
So then... for those that have fault codes such as the 'beloved' (er hum!) "EGR Excessive / Insufficient Flow" will doing this (should you choose to do so!!!) eliminate that? If not... what would you suggest please @300 ??? Cheers! 🙂
@@viamerda Exactly why it drinks more? Who told you this? The engine can suck less oxygen with EGR opened because exhaust gases are quiet hot and full of Co2 and other waste gases... So if you close it you will get more power/less fuel consumption.
Thanks man. Would it be possible to give me the central convenience module login pin to enable adaptation? I have a late 97 B5 passat and would be grateful if I could get some hidden features enabled such as auto locking doors etc...

3:00 its exactly the opposite, you had 450~500 maf meaning no EGR at all, then you got 350 meaning that the rest of the air is coming from the EGR.
I have mk4 golf 1.6 AZD, and the login code does not work. Can you please tell me the right login code? Thanks
Vcds engine on or off?
Hi! Have you ever faced the ploblem when the MAF specified value is always 850 without any change at any engine speed?( 1.9tdi asv engine

Hello for mk6
My car is off road and the EGR has been disconnected. If I lowered the duty cycle of the EGR would it make the check engine light go away?
No. It wont unfortunately. Also your car will loose power and drink more

@@viamerda Have my egr blanked, how would I stop the engine light with vcds? Thanks
Is there a way with the EGR deleted to get rid of the check engine light code using VCDS?
No. Need a tune
Dude we don’t care about legality
