I went on David austin website to buy the new calendar and thought let me buy a rose while I’m at it. I wanted the most yellow rose 🥰 thanks for your review! I love hearing your voice & laugh!
Aww..your roses always look healthy despite no spraying. Amazing! Two questions. Do you have to remove flower buds in the first year to let the plant strong before letting them bloom in the second year? Can you make a clip about how to trim your DA roses: Spirit of freedom, James Galway, this one and others..? Thanks in advance.
I do not remove flower bud. It perform right away since I planted it. I made a video about how to prune climber rose and shrub rose if you visit my channel Playlist in "Rose care". It is the same for DA roses.
Charlotte is out of stock on the David Austin website but I was able to order two of the roses from Burpee. I love these yellow roses. Plus last year I named my daughter Charlotte.
That's a really beautiful name that you gave your daughter! 🥰 David Austin will not have lots of roses in stock at this time of the year. Most of the roses will be restock in June and July. So if you want any roses over there. Best to at their website that time. Still, happy that you are able to get 2 from Burpee. 😊
I hope your Charlotte will grow so well in your garden. It is really a super gorgeous and floriferous variety in my garden. It is always in bloom for me. Just a very easy rose to grow.
Oh ya. DA picture sucks! 😆 They don't promote their older rose. I put beneficial nematodes and if I saw the thrips on the first few blooms and buds, I will just remove them right away. That helps!
Hi Seng, My local nursery has Charlotte, Teasing Georgia and The Pilgrim potted roses( 3 gallon DA potted rose) for 50% discount. Which of these 3 should I get? I am in zone 7a, Connecticut.
Yes!!! Love this round yellow ball. 🤣 It is not true that it has light fragrance. I found the fragrance stronger as it mature. It has nice medium tea fragrance for me
So beautiful your Charlotte Mine still hasn't got any blooms I bought together with Charles Darwin Janet and Golden Celebration... Only blooms I had were from Janet
I really love this rose. it is not big but super cute. :) makes me smile every time seeing it!! Do you use any organic spray for thrips or spider mite?
I bought this one today. I'm not far from you (FL panhandle) so I appreciate seeing how the roses do for you. Inspires me! Thanks
Thanks for your video. I wasn’t sure I should buy or not, now I definitely will buy tomorrow from my local nursery.
Definitely get it. It repeats so well.
I just ordered it today and your video made me so glad that I did.

@@backyardparadise2334 I have Poet’s Wife, Golden Celebration, Molineux and Vanessa Bell. Are Charlotte’s blooms similar to any of these roses?
@@sarmishthabanerjee1057 Maybe similar to Vanessa Bell but with brighter yellow.
@@backyardparadise2334 Thank you!
