PRO tips to Rough Wiring A Room || E8 Finishing a Basement

This video will cover pro tips to rough wire a room & install a circuit breaker. More specifically, I’ll show you how to install an AFCI circuit breaker. I'll also discuss when you need an AFCI circuit breaker. In this DIY home improvement video series, I’ll be finishing a basement step by step. Let me show you how to build a room in the basement!
I’ll cover how to install electrical boxes, how to run Romex wire from your circuit breaker panel to your room, how to install Romex wire from electrical box to other boxes, how to wire up lights and switches, where to put Romex staples, how to staple more than 2 wires, how to drill holes in studs for wiring and how to install a circuit breaker.

8) Frame the Walls
9) Rough in your plumbing electrical and HVAC
10) Install doors
11) Insulate your walls if needed
12) Install and finish drywall
13) Paint walls
14) Finish electrical
15) Install flooring
16) Install trim
17) Install plumbing fixtures
