-nylon prybar
-1/4 in socket driver
-Craftsman 19.2v drill
-hex drill socket
-crimper
-butt connectors

no, double din head units just require the face plate kit. it basically just sits in the hole and is screwed to those 2 places at the bottom, also steering wheel controls will still work if you get a head unit with the option to still use your controls and wire properly

Thank you. I was inspired to try it by your video and did it. Two spots that make the removal and reattachment of the dash easier are taking off the the headlight unit and the computer unit. They both slip forward out of the dash, making removal and reattachment of the wires way easier. You can see what I'm talking about on my youtube page

No the steering wheel buttons wont work anymore after u put in a aftermarket headunit

Nice how to vid. My question is, did the a/v work with the new headunit and the rear dvd system? I see you upgraded to a 22 inch screen however i have the factory rear entertainment system and my installer told me that if i put my pioneer AVH P4100 in, that i would lose sound from the rear dvd system, did this happen to you before installing the new screen?

hello i have a 05 ford expedition with the 6 cd changer in the front and the factory dvd in the back if i change my headunit to a pioneer double din with i still be able to use the rear dvd and will my steering wheel buttons work like the volume up vol down and change track?
