Vielen Dank Herr Luzi. This topic really knocked out all my braincells in me when we had this topic. And you explained them so well. All your lessons are direct to the point, simple and easy to understand. God bless you two.
Dankeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bester Lehrer, würde ich ehrlich sagen! Your videos deserve more views, it's so rare to find out such clear explications like yours!
Hy herr luzi.. I wish that u would have explain it(trennbare v) for the pp.. perfekt too ... But I cleared it with your explanation in the comments box Danke..
Vielen dank für deinen Unterricht. Das was toll. What happens to these verbs in a perfect tense in the main clause? (I have turned on the radio). And then what about when that part is in a subordinate/dependent clause? (She hopes that I have turned on the radio.) (P.S.: One small suggestion for the title: spell "separable" with an A in the middle).
hi keith, thanks a lot! in perfekt you need to put the “ge” for the pp in between the prefix and the verb: ich habe das radio angemacht. for subordinate clauses its explained in thia video: you dont separate the verb. and thanks for your correction!! 🙏🙏👍
I want to get my money back from the A1.2 course that I paid for, I was not taught this at all! I find it hard to identify haupsatz and nebensatz in Gesprochenem Deutsch and when I hear trennbar verbs in an instruction for example, I get a bit lost. but thank you for this explanation I will try to put this all in better practice.
Am I correct in saying that we cannot separate the prefix from the "trennbaren verben" when using the past participle to form the perfect tense with the auxiliaries "haben" and "sein'"?
Luzi, aber wenn der Nebensatz mit Deshald oder Darum zusammenfällt, trennt sich auch die Trennbare? zB: John ist heiss, deshalb macht er jetzt das Fenster auf. Korrekt?
I saw a sentence on a language app that said "Ich werde mit zum Geldautomat gehen." I wondered why the "mit" wasn't with the "gehen" since it has a modal verb. Is this example correct or is there another explanation possible? Thanks.
you also need to learn the vocabulary... which you need to do by yourself. but sorry it’s impossible for us to know if you re ready or not for the exam. the grammar is moatly covered though im our videos.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the word "das" in the subordinate clause at 2:23 must be "dass" (the preposition)?
No its correct 👌
There it is a relativepronoun.

hello. please can we have more examples and meaning of trennbaren verben???

It is really gut.
Aufmachen means to open but same is öffnet. So i can also use “Lisa öffnet das fenster” ?
Ja richtig 👍
Awesome!

Can you please do upload here a link for pdf of separable verb...
Am I correct in saying that we cannot separate the prefix from the "trennbaren verben" when using the past participle to form the perfect tense with the auxiliaries "haben" and "sein'"?
You mean like:
angerufen or eingekauft? Yes thats correct.
Luzi, aber wenn der Nebensatz mit Deshald oder Darum zusammenfällt, trennt sich auch die Trennbare? zB: John ist heiss, deshalb macht er jetzt das Fenster auf. Korrekt?
What about when the connector is "Wenn"
Same. Wenn requires Nebensatz as well.
@@yourgermanteacher Wenn ich allein zu Haus bin, rufe ich meinen freund an oder anrufen meinen freudn.
What would be the correct statement??
First one.
…, rufe ich meinen Freund an.
Dankeschön
🙂🙏
You rock!
I saw a sentence on a language app that said "Ich werde mit zum Geldautomat gehen." I wondered why the "mit" wasn't with the "gehen" since it has a modal verb. Is this example correct or is there another explanation possible? Thanks.
das ist gesprochene sprache. 😉
aber deine variante ist korrekt. 👍
dear Teacher now that I have completed watching these videos and practising am i now able to write the GERMAN A1 TEST
you also need to learn the vocabulary... which you need to do by yourself. but sorry it’s impossible for us to know if you re ready or not for the exam. the grammar is moatly covered though im our videos.
@@yourgermanteacher okay thank you... I guess my question should have been... ARE ALL YOUR A1 VIDEOS COVERING THE WHOLE A1 SYLLABUS?
giving directions is not there yet... but most is covered yes
Vorzüglich!!😊 I suppose that word is not used much today.😅
It’s a nice one… still 👍
@@yourgermanteacher Sicher!
Can you not use offnen instead of aufmachen?
yes sure. 👍😊
but öffnen is not a separable verb. 😉
@@yourgermanteacher danke schön🙏
