I love Drs Karin and Rick! So glad you had her on. They are both brilliant and you can tell how they have taken such great care of themselves.

Nice presentation and very informative. I am not a raw vegan and not looking to be but there are things to consider for sure ! I love broccoli with Rice or pasta or I make a creamy soup. I use the broccoli's cooking water to flavor rice or couscous. I never drink the cooking water but I guess I should taste it in itself!

Steam is hotter than boiling water. The folate loss must be loss into the water, I would think. I always save and consume the cooking water, in fact that is what I like best about cooking vegetables - otherwise I prefer raw.

Dr. Karin: "Do you use an Instant Pot, AJ?"
Me: "Hell yeah she does! She's the reason I went out and bought one!"

A "small salad" is 19 cups?? I thought our stomach only holds 4 cups...I would look pregnant all day if I ate that much
