In a small village in the remote English countryside, several young maidens have been found dead - their beautiful faces horribly aged almost beyond recognition. Suspecting a supernatural evil at work, the local doctor calls on Army friend and famed vampire hunter Captain Kronos, an expert swordsman formerly of the King's Imperial Guard. Aided by his expert assistant, Professor Grost, the two quickly confirm the gruesome murders are the work of a unique type of vampire, one who drains its victims not of their blood, but of their youth! After forging a lethal new sword from an old graveyard cross, the vampire hunters set out to put an end to evil's reign of terror in this Hammer Films horror classic.

All the negative comments make no sense to me. This looks pretty good, especially for it's time
it's a great movie! i watched it as a kid when it came out and never forgot it so watched it again as a 50 year old and still enjoyed it
For it’s time LMFAO Christ there was way more innovative creative and awesome films in the 70s alone compared to ANY boring yawnfest silly inane comic book movie that’s been the staple of 💩 Hollywood for the last 20yrs I’m gonna assume for you claim this that you’ve barely. seen any 70s movies….

For the record, I've watched more than a few movies from the 70s, even those predating this one. But my statement had nothing to do with critiquing a time period or films of all genres.
You're huffing and puffing at what this film is not, I'm talking about what it's trying to be, and how it's visuals and direction seem to be quite adequate for what was available at the time
An excellent movie. Trust me. If you’re a Hammer watcher. You will enjoy it.

2023- I love old movies
Saw this as a kid, Hammer films were good, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and others. Kronos was a badass, good movie. Caroline Munroe was hot AF

I thought trailers got worse over the years in terms of showing too much. But this one actually showed me the whole movie including the bad guy reveal. I mean, come on 😂

This isn't a good movie, but it's not a bad one either. It's just your average B&B (Boobs & Blood) Hammer film. If you like them, you might like this one as well. Considering the fact that this film had to compete at the box office with 'The Exorcist' and 'The Wicker Man' (two '70s classics), it probably did OK, it just wasn't one of the better films of the era.
It’s too bad that the trailer gave away a bit of the brilliant sword fight duel scene at the end of the trailer
Probably be the only disadvantage about the trailer for me.
When did trailers first start spoiling movies
Wow, that is one old movie, and in color, even. Very cool that you all are releasing what must now be considered the world's oldest film ever!
Everyone else here is cracking jokes about the typo in year of release, while I'm here wondering how this trailer got converted from film to digital in this state. The frame rate is janky and borderline slideshow, the upscaling makes it look like it there's VHS analog signal filter artifacts despite it clearly being converted from film stock, and finally the picture is so shaky it was legit hard for my eyes to focus on anything while watching it. I highly doubt that this is the condition of the film release, but I'd highly suggest taking this down and uploading a better version that doesn't look like an amateur VHS rip.

Bastards stole my idea... About 40 years before I had it. But it would've been better if they explored the other kinds of vampires in the world rather than just boring energy feeders. But it was more just a throw away line I guess
