That ear flip at 4:02 was ear candy. These two gentlemen are fire in this. Dan added just the right amount of grit in just the right places. Dan and Garrett Peters took this sad mournful song and turned it into a celebration of joy. Someone said "don't be sad it ended. Be glad it happened." That's what they did with this.

I’m so happy you got to this one so quickly-I’ve been watching for you to post. It’s kind of interesting that you named off three vocalists that I don’t want to hear, either. I never saw Titanic, I mean, I already knew what was going to happen in the end, so I only knew the intro (I randomly chose it as my daughter’s ringtone without knowing anything about it). Because I didn’t know the song, I had to listen a few times to catch the lyrics, but I was loving the musicality of it from the first note. Dan posted hints of what the song would be as they recorded it and indicated what he thought would physically happen to the listeners when they heard it. That was a trip in and of itself! Thanks, Josh! To hear a difference side of Dan, you might like to check out his rendition of Loch Lomond or Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme.
