About the 22nd Annual SAG Awards:
Lauded by critics for its style, simplicity and genuine warmth, the Screen Actors Guild Awards® presented by SAG-AFTRA, which made its debut in 1995, has become one of the industry's most prized honors. The only televised awards shows to exclusively honor performers, it presents thirteen awards for acting in film and television in a fast moving two hour show which airs live on TNT and TBS. The awards focus on both individual performances as well as on the work of the entire ensemble of a drama series and comedy series, and the cast of a motion picture. These honors are fundamental to the spirit of the Screen Actors Guild Awards because they recognize what all actors know -- that acting is a collaborative art.

Carol Burnet and Lucile Ball were the best togheter doing comedy. Let me tell U that they're recognized all over the world. And they have (had) an universal humor type. I adore them both. I love when they look direct to the lens camera (like being a kind of communication with the audience in home) when they lost patience like saying I will stay as I did not hear it". I know Lucille Ball died early 90, and Carol is alive 2016. kisses and huggs from Chile, southAmerica.
I always loved her show, and I remember watching her on the Garry Moore show in the early 1960s. She was always wonderful, and still is.
Honestly brought me to tears. I love this lady and grew up watching this show. What a talented lady and a class act.

The Carol Burnett Show was a part of my childhood and my sister and I can still imitate scenes and understand the other. She would come in and sit down for Thanksgiving dinner and it would feel as though I were with family. One in a million.
