    Lovely trailer. My only complaint is, I need a wand in that shower that I can hold and spray water to important areas lol. After hiking or a long hot day of activities, water just pouring over my head is not gonna cut it. I love the trailer! Nice job!

  • @gridjac

    I love the idea of the drive axle..I hope that catches on with other types of trailers also. The collapsible design for improved aerodynamics is great. I do wish it had a private primary bedroom.. maybe at some point they will. Otherwise I think it looks fantastic inside and out. It’s definitely not the most affordable trailer out there, but that’s understandable. I think it’s a huge step forward in innovation. I really hope they do well.

    I'm wanting to know more about the propulsion setup. How much power, how it's control, how it doesn't lug on the tow vehicle nor push you more than you want. I have many questions! Very intriguing!

    Great concept! Where do I put 1 - 2 weeks of clothes for, at minimum, two people? Maybe have a twin-bed option (maybe already is and I missed it).

    Their specs page needs to include tongue weight and gross max weight. Agree that a standard bed size would be better, and they should get rid of the glass on that front section. Can the drive motors be used to creep the caravan into position at the camp site? Does the drive motor change the licensing requirements?

    I love the design ,for the living room, the red/pink color cushion , I think it should be more a neutral color that makes you feel reflex and cozy. science to color.

    Great Ideas! The pop up camper has been around a LONG time, this is an improvement on the style. How about in wheel hub motors, and loos the complexity and weight of the ICE style drive train?

  • @tomgray971

    Unless those windows are bulletproof, they wouldn't last a month on Alberta roads. All the counter space is nice. Lower storage is good and it looks like provision for better upper storage. No screens when those windows are up -- bugs camp with you! We had an RV where we had to unmake the bed every morning and remake it every night--hated it, even with double sleeping bags. Makes me wonder if the designer has ever spent any time in an RV.

    What a neat machine. I hope they’ll consider making the “slightly larger than queen sided bed” a standard queen. You don’t want to be in the linens business, and this is often a sore spot in RVing and boating that you can get right.

    • @AllElectricFamily
      @AllElectricFamily  Год назад +4

      I don't think it's insane. Consider an Airstream that costs over $100k without an 80kWh battery, no solar, and no motors.

    • @NicholasProszkow
      @NicholasProszkow Год назад

      @@AllElectricFamily well - I would consider $100k for an airstream not quite insane - but outside the reach of many families. Understandably, quality is important and Airstream usually delivers for that price - but you can easily purchase two (if not 3 with those "sale prices") 30 foot campers from other manufactures for less than $100k. Just to clarify - I ABSOLUTELY want an EV camper to pull with my Lightning!

  • @raicebannon1936

    The camera is showing the guy speaking and showing few details of the camper. You need a new video focusing completely on the RV

  • @Dannyar10
    @Dannyar10 Год назад

    My concerns are the weight of this thing with that 80kwh battery. Once that battery runs out when towing, your tow vehicle is now pulling around a ton of dead weight. Fast Charging one of these is not possible at the moment considering the size and layout of existing chargers.

    • @AllElectricFamily
      @AllElectricFamily  Год назад

      Weight has far less to do with range than aerodynamics. When you have a trailer that is this aerodynamic, it's going to have much less impact on the tow vehicle even if it's not assisting.

  • @johnmorrill5637
    @johnmorrill5637 Год назад

    So, a few things. A BIG ONE is SCREENS! You can't have just open air. Where do live that doesn't have bugs? There needs to be a screen door, and screens on all the windows that open!!
    I'd like to see a video with the windows "blacked". Can you make it dark in there (like for a nap or not wanting to wake with the crack of dawn - or at a campsite where there are lights around you)?
    MANY campsites put you unnervingly close to the next camper over. Those windows need to be walls a lot in real world.
    Where are the TV's? (I don't like "camping" - I like a "mobile home" - with WIFI and ROKU on TV's).
    How cold can it handle with just electric heating? Propane can get you through a sub-freezing night.
    Where do you keep plates, cups, silverware, cooking pots/pans?
    Lastly - have you brought this with all the glass into a Phoenix summer?

    I love this idea but I think they really missed the mark on this. They tried to build a small house, which is lovely, but evs don’t have the ability to tow enough to make this fun to travel with.
    I think the length could’ve been significantly reduced and 7,500 lbs loaded?! Are you kidding me? You’d get like 50 miles range :(
    There was sooooo much storage space that seems unnecessary.
    I hope to see a mini version that could easily be towed by evs though. Beautiful design, but I can’t see this being practical for their target market

    Intriguing. The layout is a little hard to get a view of, not sure I like the cram all the beds at one side setup. Wish they had more outdoor focused cooking features. Cooking in a box is not always fun, Half of going out to the outdoors is to cook outdoors. Interior is only for terrible pouring rain days.

    They should have collabed with more people who currently own tiny homes or live life with campers. Its not very homey or outfitted with really any camping stuff/storage which kind of defeats the purpose of it bejng a camper.
